I'm in favor of delaying.
-
I am also fine with delaying draft until we know more about when season will actually begin.
-
I had assumed we are drafting in Evening if on a weekday as that was the original proposal. Anytime from 7:30 Eastern onward is fine for me on March 2. 7:30 PM or 8 PM start on March 2 is great. Afternoon drafting on weekdays is out. Afternoon drafting on weekends before March 20 is perfectly fine for me.
-
3/2 works for me as well
-
In favor of getting this done on 3/2. I could start at 4:30 EST if that helps Jeff and others.
-
Hi guys - I am flexible as to draft date. Happy to wait until we get more clarity on start of season.
-
(Jeff) I'm on the fence - typically I like plowing ahead, but I respect that in a keeper league it might be more important to know as many roles and teams as possible. Selfishly, if we do push forward on 3/2, I'd prefer an early start time - I coach my daughter's soccer team and have practice that night, would need to be done by 7p PT.

I’d rather wait until we know when the season starts and more transactions are complete.
-
I’d rather push
-
I'm still in favor of 3/2.
-
we got about half of folks to speak out at all, and they all agreed to 3/2. but i will say: i'm very ok, if everyone else is, with delaying the draft until closer to the season, which almost certainly will be pushed back at this point. so i think the big question at this point is: move forward on 3/2, or call it off and wait until real news?
-
Is the Draft March 2 as was originally proposed, or are we some other night?
-
Do we have a Draft date?
-
quick reminder: keeper deadline is tomorrow at midnight ET. get your cuts and trades in now or else you carry your roster into the draft room
-
March 2nd in the evening is great, thanks.
-
March 2 at 8 PM Eastern works for me.
-
3/2 works for me.

Weeknights are always best for me so Wed March 2 is fine
-
3/2 works for me. We can always send one of those surveys/polls out to see what works best for all if need be.
-
hey pals. let's talk draft date. i imagine this is a room full of busy folks, so let's try to get ahead of this. i assume weekday evenings is probably better for most of us, unless we want to devote a weekend to this. i am going to name a random date to get the conversation started. we can key in on a final date and get around to a time later. so: W 3/2? are we ok with being too far ahead of opening day in case it gets pushed back? let's discuss

If a team does not allocate at least $1 to every other team, none of their allocations will count & iit will be as if they did not participate.
If a team does not allocate all $25, none of their allocations will count & it will be as if they did not participate.
-
The allocation system gives a $25 budget to each team to allocate towards players on other teams.
Each team must allocate at least $1 to every other team, and no team can allocate more than $3 to any other team.
At the end of the allocation period, all players have their salary increased by the amount allocated towards them.
Allocations take place after the initial offseason salary increase, so any allocations will be in addition to the $1 or $2 increase each player gets at the

Congrats Blizzard of Oz. Awesome season. Off to arbitration we go. You have until 11.14 to allocate to other teams. Details:
-
Thanks! Was a fun season no doubt, looking forward to next year!
-
Congrats Blizzard on the completely dominant win!! Great job!

hi everyone! i've been in the thick of moving and have neglected nearly everything in my life, fantasy baseball included. i am a BUYER and if you would like me to BUY from you please send me a package (anyone can be moved at the right price!) and i will try to review this evening as i have absolutely no time to give this the attention it deserves myself. otherwise i will simply stand pat. thanks for helping a brother out! (note that i'm not an INTENSE buyer given blizzard of oz's lead.)
-
I could use some OF :) Tooth Fairy, please trade with me!
-
i have a stupid number of outfielders, any of whom i am willing to make available (e.g. possibly robert, grisham, brantley, betts? who knows) for high-quality SP, C, or saves. plz don't trade to oz
-
I've got a bunch of injured players at keepable prices and a few prospects, looking for win now assets with the biggest need being Saves. Hit me up if you're interested!
-
Looking to acquire an OF. Would prefer to deal a 1B, but willing to deal from infield depth generally. Have an OF decimated by injury, and lot of INF depth. Please let me know with any ideas.
-
Looking for an OF, preference is to move a 3B (Arenado, Devers) or an SP, however, I am flexible to any ideas.
-
geez i thought it was. i just forced it to be done through commissioner tools? that doesn't seem right? but we should be good now. sorry!
-
someone has to shut off the auction!
-
Where do we auction?
-
yes we are on for 3/24. and unless someone says otherwise i will move forward with the only time proposed, which is 8 pm ET. again, for everyone else, speak now or forever hold your peas
-
So are we set for March 24? Let's please confirm so I can reschedule some other things. Thanks
-
8 pm ET is fine with me
-
Later than 7 is better. How about 8 PM Eastern?
-
Sorry. Sure. I thought I said okay. This is the 24th, right?
-
salfino, speak now or forever hold your peace. let's think about start times at least; is 7 pm ET ok? before west coast dinner and after east coast dinner?
-
Is it looking like we are close to nailing down March 24 as Draft Date?
-
Would prefer 3/24, can do 3/29 if needed. I can't do 3/31, nor can Pete - he and I are in the same NL keeper auction that night.
-
I'd be fine with Monday night 3/29 or Wednesday night 3/31 if we need to do that. Tuesday 3/30 would be rough.
-
I can make the 24th work if need be. Just need to know for sure about a week in advance
-
sorry i've been slow to organize this (i blame my six-month-old). yes, it looks like 3/24 is our best bet—but at best we only have 10 of 12. aniano, salfino, is there any way you could swing this date? if absolutely needed, we could draft even closer to opening day, on 3/29, 3/30, 3/31, but i imagine none of us want to cut it that close. but maybe we do? i don't know. more feedback please! but especially from you, tony and mike
-
March 24 is looking like the most popular date so far.
-
looks like we're at 9 responses of 12, but also i can see we have no unanimous dates yet, so there will be some negotiating needed. plz respond asap!
-
sorry for the delay, all. here's a link to a poll: https://doodle.com/poll/796qvzs9mf8v8y3x?utm_source=poll&utm_medium=link. let's start with trying to hammer out a date, then we can settle on a time. please vote ASAP, if possible! thanks!
-
A poll is good for me. I have radio commitments Monday and Wednesday nights which make those evenings difficult.
-
A poll would be good. We have used that in the past. As of now, the dates that are clearly out for me are Thursday March 25 and Sunday March 28.
