Quick scheduling note - the first week of the season only goes until 3/30 this year. I think last year they added a whole week after Opening Day, but this year, Week 1 is only 4 days, plus the 2 Japan games.

Just wanna say thanks for getting the draft done last night. My lack of being able to do "time math" (game started at 6:30am EDT not CDT) and pure idiocy from not setting my lineup after the draft (assumed I'd have at least some in my starting lineup) prevented me from entering a starting lineup before the game. Oy. Getting old sucks. Good luck to all this season.

FWIW, last year's first week of H2H for us was Mar 20-Apr 8. That included the Dodgers/Pads series in South Korea. I move to be consistent and have all the games included in this year, as it was last year. If a Monday is possible now, I propose Mon., Mar. 10 for the draft.

16th or 17th work for me, and I'm also willing to do the draft after the Japan Series if push comes to shove.

I feel like the draft is something we need to get scheduled sooner rather than later. Only a few have weighed in. IMHO, as a commish in other leagues, silence means there's no preference.

For me, it depends on what dates our first game includes. I lost a playoff spot by one game last year. To me, every point means something every week. I have Cubs and Dodgers, too. High-Profile ones. Since the schedule is so effed up (the Cubs play 5 or 6 spring training games AFTER the two that count in Japan), I don't know what the answer is. I'll feel like I missed out on points if Shohei, PCA, Seiya, Steele, Scott, and Hodge have great series in Japan... and will be not happy if it costs me.

Just tossing this out there…is it imperative we shoehorn in a draft just for two games by two teams? I have a few Cubs players, including Imanaga, and it is what it is. I’m ok with waiting if necessary.

I have an auction on the 11th, the 12th, and the 13th. Don’t have another scheduled until the 24th.

I also have a hard conflict on March 12. Am fine with Mar 11 or 13 at the same time, for example.

Quick update - the open manager spots have been filled and associated cuts have been made. The next step is determine a draft date & time. I posted a time to the league page for now, so if that doesn't work for you, let me know and I can look at other options. The first games in the Tokyo Series are March 18, so we don't want to go later than that.

One last reminder to make all your cuts by midnight. Also, there are a few managers who have not renewed their teams for next year yet. Please do so by midnight to avoid any issues with your team.

Your rosters have now been updated from Arbitration and you can cut players and make trades through the end of January. I'll follow up around that time with reminders and we can look at draft dates.

Hey all - arbitration is already open and you have until November 14 to make your allocations. Remember, you have to allocate at least $1 to each team for your submission to be valid. Also, Very Unlikely let me know he won't be back next year, so that team is now on the Abandoned Teams page, in case you know anyone else who is interested. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey all, I initially meant to cut McClanahan not King. However, Brockway Monorailers was able to fix it for me - sorry for the confusion!

Quick note on Michael King - Highlanders cut him but messaged me right after to indicate that was a mistake, so I was able to add him back to his roster. Wanted to put that out there in case anyone had already put a claim in on him.
