Thank you to all of those that have completed their arbitration allocations. There are three teams who still haven't completed arb, so I'm going to have a couple of proxies from outside the league assign that money. If those owners wish to change those allocations they can do so up until 11:59pm eastern. Thanks!

Hey Everyone - We have 15 days left of arbitration and to this point, only 3 teams participate. I understand that some like to wait until the end, but to maintain a healthy league we really do need to have 90-100% participation. Either Kluszenwskinators or I am happy to answer any Arb-related questions. If you are not planning to continue in the league, please let both of us know.

Doesn't look like this will be a problem here, but a reminder that all teams must have legal rosters at the close of the season. Any rosters that show as illegal on Sunday night will need to get within roster spot and salary limits within 48 hours. Roster and salary limits include any loans and/or 60-day IL additions, so you do not need to get to 40/$400, just legal as of eligibility on Sunday.

I can’t see a benefit to adding a rule requiring preemptive drops. The default rule set addresses this pretty explicitly and requiring preemptive drops would be overly punitive to players who make those drops and don’t win the auction. There’s a benefit to not knowing everyone’s potential max bid and helps maintain a consistent market value for free agents.

It’s literally in the rules:
Teams are allowed to bid such that they would go over roster or cap limits if they win the auction. If they do win the auction, they will have to get under roster and cap limits before they can set their lineups, make trades, or bid on other auctionsThat's What Heim Said on August 3, 2024 1:44 PM
