A reminder: I notice several teams have not yet set their lineups to start the season. Please do so before games begin tomorrow otherwise you'll be scoring zero points.
-
I encourage everyone to look at the rules page -- there is a link in the top right hand corner of this page. There is an entire section on adding and dropping players.
-
All auctions are now blind bid. There are no notifications to what other managers are bidding. The highest bidder will get the player at $1 more than the second highest bid. If no one else bids, the person who started the auction will acquire the player for $1 regardless of what he bid.
-
Do we get notifications if a $1 nomination gets outbid for a free agent? So we can up our bid if we like?

It appears the schedules have now been fixed.
-
Correction -- those schedules you see right now are not "offical" per Ottoneu. For example, it has Pickle Traphouse and I playing twice in the first week, which is not supposed to happen. Official schedules will post in the near future.
-
The schedule for our league is now posted. As you can see, to accommodate for the shortened MLB season, we will all be facing off against four other teams simultaneously. Assuming MLB is back to a 162-game season next year, we'll revert to a normal one opponent per week schedule. This sure will be different, but it's going to be pretty fun, too.

One addendum to Nick’s note on FA auctions. You can also submit bids that put your team over the $400 cap. If you win with one of these bids, it will also put your team into fault, and you will have to cut a player. When you cut a player half of his salary comes off your cap. The other half remains as a penalty until another manager picks him up. Cutting a $1 player gives you no cap relief until he is picked up by another team. If you are in fault, DO NOT CUT a $1 player.
-
Heads up / reminder to those auctioning players after the draft. It’s a silent auction. Best bid wins. Anyone can bid. Winner pays $1 more than second highest bid. You can bid/sign a guy even with 40 rostered (Provided you have enough $), your team would go into fault and require a cut. Should be a flurry of activity headed on that front.

Ok —where should Chico’s send it?
-
Daigos, TBD and Chico's Bail Bonds - The other 9 managers have been playing a Yahoo league together for several years. They all paid me the standard $40 fee for that league in March. I refunded $20 to all of them to cover the fee for this league and kept the remaining $20 for a prize pool. If you wish to be part of the prize pool, let me know and you can send me $20 via Venmo or PayPal. If not, no worries, you just won't be eligible to win any of the cash. Looking forward to Sunday's auction.
