Commissioner Note
This is one of the original OttoNeu leagues, founded in 2011. As part of its launch, Fangraphs sponsored baseball writers to participate in the inaugural drafts. This league was founded by former Baseball Prospectus writer Craig Brown, with an original draft date of 3/23/2011. Brown only stayed the one season, but the name stuck out of inertia, and by now we see it as almost a badge of honour. The 2023 season will be our 13th season. We pride ourselves on maintaining a core group of owners, with the median duration in the league being 5 years. This league is commissioned by Urbina's Farmhands, the sole remaining member from the 2011 draft, and David Justice is Blind, who joined in 2012.
