• We can draft up to two weeks after the season begins, if and when there is a season. If people want to do a refund, I can understand that as well, but will need people to voice that opinion either as a whole league decision or leaving individually. As stated, we are 10 days out from the refund date.

• Another vote in favor of postponement until there is a definitive 2020 start date. It does make a difference if we're drafting for 60% of 2020, 35%, 0%, etc. Mookie and Shohei are just two of many examples of why it matters.

• I need some clarification. Is this a redraft league or is this a dynasty league? If this is a redraft league then I am all for postponing but if it's a dynasty league then I'm all for drafting this weekend. Yes, this season matters but I'm also drafting for the future and you could have a guy get injured in game 1. That's just the luck of the draw.

• There's going to be some sort of mini Spring Training before the season starts. Typically you want your draft about a week before that ends. There's excitement over the season starting, and you have less risk of drafting someone who could've been injured in Spring Training.

• So we should probably pick a draft date. Since this is a rollover league we could probably draft within the next few weeks. I have a fix that needs to be satisfied with a draft. I have class from 9-10:30 on Monday and 7-8:30 on Wednesday so I would prefer not to do it on those days but if we had to do a Wednesday at 8:30 on the dot I could manage that.

• I message the founder of Ottoneu about how our auction is set for tomorrow and that we don't plan on auctioning. He recommended moving off tomorrow if we aren’t going to draft so that someone else can take the spot if they want to. We should just change it to a temporary date like the end of April or early May as a placeholder until we get word on a season start date from MLB.

As picks come in I can add them to google sheet everyone can view. It wouldn't be that many picks could do about 5/6 picks per team.

• i just want to flag that, disregarding the snake draft of milb players for a moment, that a first year ottoneu draft takes 6-8 hours. my preference, considering the finals schedule of cubano, is that we consider doing at least one draft night ahead of march 22. as that will only give us a couple options to be done before the first pitch of the season. the milb snake draft would only add to our time obligation.

• Based on what I read you would run a snake draft for MiLB guys who have no MLB service time. These players wouldnt count as a cap hit. If they get Called up to MLB you have to decide if you want to add them to your roster for $1 or cut them. Picks can be traded but you can only have a max amount of MiLB players. Keep track of it on a google sheets

• So I have a final on Sunday(22nd) at 6:30-8:00pm and one on Tuesday(8:30-10:00 so I'd prefer not to be dabbling in both since unlike a snake draft I kinda need to pay attention. If it's possible to do a minor league draft I'd be down with that as well. This is the first time I've had a league this in-depth so I am quite excited about all the possibilities.
