First, he proposed the trade to me, so there was no “collusion.” And second, he gets what is arguably the best keeper value at pitcher, going into next year. He’s getting rid of 3 guys he absolutely would not have kept, and getting back one of the better keepers out there. So “one sided” is incorrect, as well.
-
Are we just going to sit back and let Uncle Tom and Chubby slide on by with this one sided/collusion of a trade or are we going to demand an explanation?!
I get it, one guy is throwing in the towel while the other is shooting for the stars and going for it...
How about this, since I’m in 8th and have been for a couple months why don’t I just give my players to one of the top teams and go ahead and hope for the best next year... Thoughs??
-
I just noticed that Man Eating Tarp has not checked in since Opening Day. Maybe we should be looking for a replacement?
-
Open to offers on Cole ($55) and Arenado ($51) for 2022 assets. I'm willing to send loan money with them.
-
If anyone is interested in a player that beats women Ozuna is available to be claimed.
-
Hi! I'm looking to trade Franmil, Conforto, McNeil, and/or Votto within the next few days. All will be back by playoffs so good for contenders. All are priced well (some better than others, admittedly) so good for rebuilders as well. I'd love to keep them all but the injuries are dragging me down in OPL so I need to part with at least a couple. I'll consider any offers, including cap space. Please DM me if interested. Blind offers are also welcome.
-
I think we should suggest an auto-start toggle which is the opposite of auto-bench but kicks in whenever a pitcher is starting against Cleveland, Texas, or Seattle.
-
well, I couldn't commiserate before, as I had Means on other teams and couldn't imagine leaving him on the bench. But today I joined your pity party -- Kluber on the bench! (and a few shares of Giolito benched today) -_-
-
Anyone here ever have a guy throw a no-hitter on the bench? Kinda hurts
-
It's a great day for team Black Houck Down!

Opening Day! We've already got some PPD's! Reminder that the Games (135) and Innings (1250) Limits listed on your lineups page are correct and apply to the regular season. They reset once we get to the playoffs. Good luck, everyone!
-
Just FYI, Ottoneu is working on a fix for an error that's affecting our lineups (and other leagues with playoffs). You can't set your lineup right now, but it should be fixed in the next few days.
-
Auction is complete. Rosters are updated. If you over-drafted, I removed the extra player. Let me know if you see any errors. I'm marking our auction as complete now, which will open up trading and free agency transactions.
-
Auction is LIVE. Please try to max out your nominations. And remember each bid resets the clock to 9 hours. Waiting until the last minute does nothing! :)
-
All rosters have been loaded into the CM auction. I've tied out the roster and $ totals. If you see any errors, let me know.
-
Ok, the auction is full. I'll kick it off Thursday, 3/4 at 8 AM CST. I gave everyone 42 roster spots in case you have someone on 60-day IL. If you auction over your roster limit (40) or budget ($400), I will just remove the last auctioned player(s).
-
Still waiting on 3 to join the auction. I'll give everyone a couple days' notice once we're ready to go.
-
Is the plan still to get started tomorrow?
-
I'm open to changing the settings. Right now initial nominations (4 each) are 12 hours and each bid reset/extension is 9 hours. We have about 160 players to auction. If you've not done a slow auction before, please note that there's no advantage to waiting until the last minute to bid. Every new bid resets the clock to 9 hours.
We're waiting on four teams to join! I'll send them each messages this weekend.
-
Nvm sorry, I see that it's already been set up within CM. Disregard!
-
What will the format of the slow auction be? How many noms per team, and how long on bids?
-
Welcome, Clongowes! Now that we're full, I've created the auction on couchmanagers.com. Use the link below to join (Password: PREAM21). Please edit your team name in the auction to match what's in Ottoneu. I'll start adding keepers as you join, and we'll try to get started by March 1.

Hi all, I just took over the team formerly known as Freedivers. Looking forward to the season!
-
The new Freedivers owner backed out. We'll push the draft back and hopefully get that spot filled first.
-
Final reminder: keeper deadline is 11:59 PM Eastern
-
Hey guys - Remember to set your keepers by 1/31 (i.e. drop whoever you're dropping). We'll do a slow draft through couchmanagers.com starting Sunday, 2/14. More details to come on that, but if you're new to Couch Managers, you can go familiarize yourself with the site and process. Welcome to our new owners! Feel free to change your team names. Now that we're full, I can't wait to get this new season going.
-
Also, please note: We will be doing a slow draft like last season. The Draft Date displayed at the top does not apply.
-
We can still hold the auction. It would be best to at least have someone auction for that team so the rosters don't end up skewed. Hopefully we can find an owner soon.
-
If there no owner for Barves by Feb 1st, will the draft continue or be held up.

We have a replacement for Yari lined up. I'm waiting on his user name to assign him.
-
Does Yari team have an owner? Team site says no owner. At least when i last looked at it

Hey guys! This is a reminder that the keeper deadline is 1/31/21. Your roster must be in a legal state by then (salary and roster limits). Until then, you can trade and make penalty-free cuts. We will do a slow auction (like last year) sometime in Feb/Mar. We've still got one opening (Barves), so if you've got someone interested, invite them!
-
All of my fantasy football teams suck, so I'm gonna need some more people to do their arbitration on here, so I can have something new to look at during the slow moments at work.

Update: We've got one more opening.
-
Update: All three spots have been filled. I'll let you know if more open. To the 3 outgoing managers, I'll DM you.
-
We've got three openings for next year (that I know of so far). If anyone has a friend who wants in, send me a message.
-
Congrats all. I won't be returning next year. Thanks for a good year!

Congrats on the title!

Congrats to the Champ, well done! (we choked;) Hope we get a full ride next year... We'll be back!
-
What a weird season! Congrats to the playoff teams and especially to myself! I hope you guys had fun. Arbitration starts 10/15! Go Cardinals!
-
And he twirls his best game in 2 years? Were that my guys were so clutch... Congrats! (unless Lugo pitches a perfect game with 16 K's lol)
-
My season depends on Joe Musgrove @ CLE. Good luck this weekend!
-
Great Finale battle Commish! I've been a bit unfocused at the worst time possible... it will be tough to get a result
-
Good luck Hive. Brian R here
-
Aha... thx commish!

Try clicking Playoffs in the top submenu. That works for me. As far as GS cap, it is 9 starts per week, so 18 total during each 2-week matchup. That's how it is written in community forums and someone in Slack confirmed.
-
FYI: If you cut players now, you get hit with cap penalties, which may exclude you from current auctions/waiver claims. If you want until the offseason, you can make penalty free cuts.
-
Can anyone else access the 2 vs 3 matchup, or anything different than mentioned below? But ultimately, it's kinda crucial to know if we get 9 or 18 starts over the 2 week matchup
