• One final note - during the offseason I will develop a framework for handling ties. 4th and 5th place ended up tied this year. It didn't impact money but in the event it does we want something in place beforehand. The league will have an opportunity to review before implemented to make sure I didn't miss anything.

  1. Arbitration is in full swing and must be completed by midnight EST Nov 14th. Remember, you must allocate atleast $1 to each team and the full $25 across the league. If a team doesn't allocate to every team or the full $25, none of the arbitration will get counted.
  2. I believe teams are able to trade again between arbitration and the keeper deadline. Teams are not allowed to during arbitration.

• Also, I think we agreed to upping the buy-in to $125 this year to increase the payout as follows: 1st-$750 + Otto fee ($25); 2nd-$350 + Otto fee; 3rd-$200 + Otto fee; 4th-6th- $25. That would leave $50 for a trophy.

• We have a deal! MLB season starts April 7. I'm thinking we hold the draft on March 27 in the evening - maybe 8pm EST (7pm CST, 6pm MST, 5pm PST). The final round of penalty free cuts would fall on the 25th (to give owners two days to prepare for the draft). I think that provides the most time for the remaining FA's to sign... and with universal DH the signings could be significant and impact owner choices. Object in the thread of the timing is an issue for anyone.

  Once we have the date for penalty free cuts, each team will need to submit their cuts for me to enter manually. But I think this is the best way for owners to make decisions for the upcoming season. So trade away until the 15th (another week), but then we're effectively on lockdown until the draft.   All - The Otto keeper deadline is a week away. Because we still do not know if/when the season will even start, our league will NOT enforce the keeper deadline. To that end, once we have some clarification on the situation I will set a date for the final round of penalty-free roster cuts and the draft, which will be held after the final cuts. The Feb 15 deadline is a hard Otto setting I cannot change. Trades will likely need to happen before then. I will not force trades through.
