• As an alternative, Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays at 5 pm Pacific time could also work but I understand that may mean for a late night for those who do not reside in the USA. But those dates would include March 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, and 15 prior to the March 20 start of the season that would leave time for FA pickups.

• Hi everybody...ok, so here comes the hardest part of the season -- finding an auction date and time that works for everyone living across multiple time zones. Season starts early this year on March 20, so we need to have the auction completed in time to allow teams to make FA bids and pickups prior to March 20. So, I'm going to propose noon Pacific time on either March 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17 (all Saturdays/Sundays).

• I agree earlier is better because waiting just to see who gets hurt in ST or who's every teams 5th starter eliminates pre-season trading. Getting a proxy for Z and going earlier is my preference. Any of the earlier dates mentioned--Feb 18, Mar 3 or Mar 10 would work for me.

I would prefer not to contract. But as long as this draft is not on the 17th-19th of March and it does not go after 6:00PST if it is on Feb 18 - I am going to try really hard to make it work.

• A couple of options: (1) If someone knows someone who could proxy draft for the Zs on February 18, then I set the draft day for Feb 18; (2) There was at least one "hard no" for each of the 3 dates in March I proposed. A couple of owners advised that they were open on March 3 and/or 10, but those dates were not part of my original message. I could do either of those if its 4 pm Pacific time or later; or We draft Feb 18 likely with no owner for Zs; (4) We contract the team.

• Thank you for everyone's input. So, the only date that works based on the input I received is February 18, which is this coming Saturday. Only problem with that is that the Zs team was abandoned by the system late last week because the owner did not pay his fees. Not sure if we will have an owner by February 18. I'd like to avoid doing a draft without one team being present.
