OK, slow draft is officially over! Thanks for bearing with me as that was the first slow draft I had managed. Everyone check your rosters to make sure we added the right players with their correct salaries, and now any adds/drops can be made via free agency!

OK all, I'm going to start the auction at 8:30PM ET this evening. Everyone can nominate up to 3 people at a time, meaning at any given moment there should be a max of 36 players being auctioned. Each player can be bid on for up to 24 hours after being nominated, meaning everyone should have equal shot at each player. If you have any questions, please drop them in the Slack channel - it's much easier for me to manage questions there (and this message will be posted there as well).

I believe Tilting is the same owner as the past. He has not logged in since taking over the abandoned team on the 13th. He hasn't responded to emails or DMs. Anyone have any idea what is going on?

Edit Team Name is at the bottom of the page on the right side under the heading "Auction Settings". Alternately, you can click on "My Home - My Drafts" from the navigation menu and change your Default Team Name there.

On what tab? I see nothing like that, even in the User Control Panel where you're supposed to be able to change your profile.

On bottom right, there is a link, edit team name. It's underlined.

I signed up 6 years ago, never used it and completely forgot about my account. I found got my password and got into my account, but my name is Massholes and I can't find where to change it. I've checked profile settings and it's not working. Unless someone can advise, that's the name for me in the draft.

In Couch Managers, on the right side where the team summaries are, there is a red “join” button. Took me a minute to find it.

Cool thanks, I did the one last year and i'v done NFBC long drafts i just wanted to make sure i didnt miss anything.

If you never done one, you can go on couch managers now and participate in a mock one. My advice is not to overextend yourself too much by bidding too high on multiple players at the same time. I did that last year (and this year) and it sucks

Yes. 3 Nominations for every team. Each auctioned player lasts 24 hours unless there is a new bid when under 8 hours. If that happens, then the time for that player is reset to 8 hours

So I'm new to the slow draft, and am I'll for it, but I need some clarification. When you say 3 nominations, does that mean each owner nominates 3 guys at a time, so there will be 36 players being auctioned at once or is that only 3 players being auctioned at a time? Doesn't seem like there would be enough time for the latter scenario.

Sweet. Look like a slow draft. Wish I had more cash now... I'm going to be spectating mostly. Start next week guys? I believe the settings were 3 noms to start, 24 hours, and 8 hour resets

I'm fine with either one. Slow, fast doesnt bother me. If slow then yeah we should start soon. If day of I'd say after March 1st so I can drink. I like to drink and draft and I'm off the sauce for a weight loss comp until the 1st haha but either way I'm down.

I don't want to start fresh. I spent all last year rebuilding and basically threw away $100. It was my fault but all that work would be wasted if we started fresh

OK that looks like 5 votes for doing a slow draft via Couch Managers instead of a traditional Ottoneu style auction draft. If anyone is dead set against doing a slow draft, please post on the message board by midnight (EST) tonight (12/13). As long as no one objects, then I can set up the slow draft.

I can do either style of draft but I would prefer the slow draft / couch managers too. That format was really fun and with keepers there will be fewer available players and won't take as long. Then we also don't have to worry about scheduling a draft with everyone's availability.
