March 26, 2025 5:16 PM : The Yankees placed Brubaker (ribs) on the 15-day injured list Wednesday.
Analysis: Brubaker suffered three broken ribs on his left side when he was hit by a comebacker in a Feb. 21 Grapefruit League game against the Rays. He'll be eligible to return from the IL on April 7, but his absence will likely be beyond that date since he has yet to start a throwing program.
