• Your comment attached to the trade does seem to indicate you planned to turn the deal down, "Nah Goodwin 25 core player and I like TJ more as lone receiving option on Lions". I can cancel the trade. Are there any objections?

• Hey guys. Last couple days been driving cross country from San Diego to Mississippi which is why was in and out the draft last night cuz the service was cutting in and out. Anyway this morning I was looking at trade offers and the I guess I accepted a trade which I clearly was trying to decline anyone know how to fix that?

• I have found and added a replacement owner! I'm going to give him a few days of waiver free additions to fill out a roster. Anyone already nominated will remain a FAAB. Welcome the new dude and wish him luck, the free agent pickings are very slim. This is definitely the best outcome for retaining competitive balance!

• I only play NY once as well and even though the situation is not ideal, I am at peace with that. This being Otto, There is usually someone willing to take on the challenge of a Waiver/rebuild team and I feel like there will be plenty of talent in the auction next season.

• I missed my other draft last year and build a pretty solid roster off waivers prior to week 1...of course it was a redraft and I had a couple assets. Its possible and can be fun.

• Its disappointing that NY missed the draft, but we will just have to do the best we can. I manage a baseball league and another football league, and I have to find a couple replacement owners every year. Its not ideal, its just reality. It can be pretty hard to coordinate a first time draft with 11 other people, none of whom know each other, and all with varying degrees of communication skills. The assumption was if someone paid/signed up they would show up, thats a reasonable assumption. I have reached out to NY hopefully he responds, and I will look into a replacement owner if I can find one quick who wants to actively manage NY team. Any assistance finding a fill-in owner is appreciated! I'd be willing to consider a round of waiver free FA additions for the new owner to fill out a roster before this weekends games (if others agree)!

• One more idea, if you guys find a new owner than I'll give up my team and take the NY team if that's is more enticing. I like my team. But the league is so much better when there is full participation. And then I'll beat you guys with my waiver wire bums.

• And for the record, there is a private league drafting tonight. We could take this league private and find a new owner of there was a desire to do so. I know that's not an easy decision. But it's an option. And I would be ok with that.

• When the draft was rescheduled we should have had confirmation from each owner that they were going to participate. There should have been a deadline attached if we didn't hear from them. We could have spent all day Tuesday finding a new owner for that team. It's all water under the bridge now. I like my team. But I joined this league for the same reason I play otto baseball. That was to find something more enjoyable, more hardcore than some standard ESPN league.

• Yeah but it's the same as someone abandoning their team during the season. With the high prices that many of these players went for, the talent pool in next year's draft should be pretty deep. The owner that picks up this blank team will have a good chance to build a competitive team.

• Bledsoe - I am curious what your solution would have been if you were the commish??...if we wait to draft, then week 1 would have been a complete wash. I'm not sure what the schedule looks like but basically the NY team becomes 'automatic win'. Sure a couple teams will benefit more than others, but I don't know how this could have been handled differently.

• seems fixed, niv just responded in community forums! i think chat history is erased if you refresh, but not positive. For new folks, when nominating you need to click a player and input the starting bid price. it can be a little confusing, im sure there will be plenty of accidental misses, but try to be aware if you are up!

• Howdy folks, welcome and thanks for joining! I'm really looking forward to this format, the super flex should be interesting, I've never played in a (quasi) 2 QB fantasy league.
