• Fellas…hope you are all well and as eager for the season to (finally) get started as I am. Thanks Hard Knocks, but let’s get on with it already. Ok so point of this note is I wanted to see if there was appetite for a full league (old gods and the new) final round of penalty free cuts. The reason I ask is that our new owners perhaps have been able to make a few rosters cuts for their squads with a bit more information than was available on Jul 31st. That is totally cool, but if the rest of the league feels like that should be available to all teams prior to our draft on Sunday Sep 1, then that is fine with me. Not urgent, but share your thoughts here if you are for or against by Sunday morning and we can go from there prior to the draft. [FYI: I will not be making any changes so this is not a personal agenda thing]

• Hey there Game! Welcome. Josh Allen was at $100 and Jacobs was at $55 when they were cut without penalty by the former team manager. I will let the rest of the league chime in as to whether an “add back” at those price levels is accepted or not.

• Last item for completeness sake…if we have new owners that take over teams after the penalty-free roster cuts tomorrow on 31-Jul, then I will let the new manager(s) make one round of roster cuts without penalty so they can adjust the team as they see fit. That is only for those unique situations though and before we draft. After that it’s business as usual. Hopefully we wont have that and you all are returning.

• The NFL season starts on Thus 5-Sep. Please chime in here as to whether you want to have the draft as late as possible so we know the injury and depth chart situations better or if you prefer to go earlier in Aug and snap up those deep finds before they get all the helium and drive the draft price up.

• Reminder that roster cuts need to be made by end of day tmrw 31-Jul. We also still have 7 teams that have not renewed for 2024 so don’t forget about that as well. We are still just a $20 league so doesn’t cost much to renew and enjoy another season. The Paydala app works easily with cards so it’s easy to renew your teams now.
