Thanks again Round Mound for running this thing. Thank you to all the trading partners and those for which trades did not quite come about. Well played La Grange, there certainly wasn't much of a margin for error. Until next August, hopefully we are inoculated by then, things are back to normalish, you, your families and friends are safe, healthy and rating dishes in Wadju, the hottest app in town, when we pick this all up again.

Congrats to the Habs on winning the Slack League Cup!

Take a look at Wadju. There aren't a lot of ratings anywhere. We are very early but we'll get there. Start it up rating items, compare with Jack, friends etc. We are looking for the early adopter / trend setters. Don't stress it, everyone sucks at Fantasy Football until they pick up Lamar Jackson for $2 (I actually drafted him the year before he won the Heisman and let him go just before he "got" good) or a T. Hill, a Kelce or whoever explodes that year. Then there is performance on a weekly basis and of course injuries. Fortunately, someone has to win, kind of like the NFC East, so who knows. I'm Ted by the way. Nate was my late older brother. I guess I inherited the team and named it after him. We can't win the Stanley Cup but maybe we trip into the Slack League...whatever our cup is called!

Nate, I checked out the app - looks interesting, but there doesn't seem to be many ratings for Upstate NY restaurants. Thanks to Round Mound for his work as commissioner. As for personal background, I am a recently retired attorney and my son Jack is a senior marketing analyst - fantasy baseball is our true focus - we have decided that we suck at fantasy football, but it takes our minds off the bad weather and is worth a $100 for that. Thanks everyone - see you next year. Jim

Very cool, I’ll check it out!

Hey Fellow Slack League Owners / Participants,
The 2020 season final week starts tonight and for 8 of us the season ends on Monday night (if all the games are played etc.). That means, if many of you are like me, you will not be coming back to this website for another 6 months.
For starters, let's thank Round Mound for maintaining the league and keeping it afloat for another year. Hopefully, next year, we do not have any team owners to replace.
More to the point, we are all part of this league, but none of us actually know each other or what we do. At least I don't. For all I know Valley Heat plays for the Vikings. However, we all toil through the lunacy of an NFL fantasy season against / with each other. I thought that this bond might allow me to ask a favor.
I am the founder of a mobile app called "WADJU." Wadju allows users to rate individual menu items at restaurants, keep a record of them and share them with other users.
The primary use case (what it was designed for) is when a user opens Wadju in a restaurant, it geolocates the user and lists the 20 restaurants closest to the location. The User indicates the restaurant they are in and the menu for that restaurant is presented. As the user reviews the menu, the average rating of each individual item is presented so the user can see what is preferred or not and order accordingly.
Every user has their own WADJU Think page which records the ratings they have entered for their own reference and for others to see what that person recommends or disliked. Users can follow others, create specific groups (work friends, food critics, football players, etc) and apply a group as a filter over the information received so they would only see ratings from members of the filter applied group. Users can restrict the information to only that from those they are interested in hearing from: no more white noise or concern for fake ratings.
There are several other elements to Wadju that, as it becomes more familiar, will stand out. At this initial stage, our primary objective is get initial users and start building the database of ratings.
2020 was supposed to be the year of our big push. We entered the App store in late December 2019. As you might imagine, Covid-19, presented a huge obstruction. We more or less put all of our marketing / promotional efforts on hold. One can't be certain when the lockdown environment will let up, hopefully early in the new year, but we will resume our push for adoption regardless. Users can always rate the take out /delivery items they eat at home.
The favor is to please take a look at WADJU. It's available in the App Store. "WADJU - Ratings You Can Trust"
If you do download Wadju, thank you, use it often and tell your friends and family. It will provide an as yet untapped utility to share recommendations and opinions. While using Wadju, if you encounter a restaurant for which we do not have a menu, press the request menu button, a note is immediately sent, the menu will be uploaded and you will then be notified that items can now be rated at that restaurant (we have an internal notification system too).
I don't know your names or emails so I won't know if you signed up but hopefully 1 or 2 of you see the benefit and advantage of WADJU and are willing to be first adopters.
Best of luck to those of us who make the playoffs.
One last request, whoever knocks me out (pretty certain one of you will), please send a note saying you at least downloaded Wadju (true or not) to soften the blow because I more or less mortgaged the next 2 years for this 2020 run.
