• haha...damn Bears fans always making things complicated :). I don't like seeing a 8-8 team take the place of a 10-6 team, because he just happened to play in the wrong division. I am open for it to be a discussion/vote. Voting will close August 27 at this time. Vote the following way-- One Division or Two divisions....My Vote is: One Division

• But "getting screwed" is what fantasy football is all about! Why else would we play mythical head-to-head matchups where the week's second-highest scoring team can randomly get charged with a "loss"? Hell, the whole concept of "playoffs" increases the chance of getting screwed. If we want to minimize it, we should go to the fewest possible number of playoff teams, but limiting the playoff teams means more teams drop out of the race sooner, leading to increased tanking and more bullshit (trades, apathy, etc.). Divisions actually keep more teams in the race longer. I say embrace volatility and accept that "getting screwed" is part of the fun!

• Just so no one is surprised I put us all into one division. I was waiting for the update to come up and I just saw it (sorry if I missed it before). The intent is that the best teams should make the playoffs and not get screwed based on a lop-sided division.

• Since we now have two people over the cap by a decent amount, I thought I would fill everyone in on the rules/penalties. I had to do some research, but here you go: Until the team is under the cap limit these are the penalties:
  
  Accruing points in any weekly matchup. Players will be moved to the bench if their NFL game starts while their ottoneu team is over roster or salary limits.
  Setting lineups
  Offering or accepting trades
  Bidding on auctions
  
  The biggest kicker here, you will be taking L's until you make some cuts.
