• I have no issue with a round of roster adjustments for all teams (not just the new owners) leading up to the draft. Hoping we can lock in on drafting on Sep 2 9pm

• Hello all..I was thinking only fair that all OG teams who have been in the league prior to the roster deadline of Aug 31st should be able to make cuts late now that the league has added so many NEW teams..the new teams can look at available players and have an advantage?..All teams should have til Sunday Sept 1st say 9:00pm EST to make last cuts regardless of when you joined? Any thoughts? Im guessing Monday Sept 2nd 8:00pm is best for most? Also if we dont get the last manager we can have OJ (commish) make some light cuts prior to draft to keep the teams roster in best shape and valid for a poss late post draft owner pickup? Anyone have any additional thoughts?

• I can of like the idea of a late Sept 2nd (9pm est) if owners don't have family obligations, are traveling that day, or already have draft scheduled. Just throwing it out there.

• We are down to only needing one team!! Yessah..but we def need to figure out a draft date..pretty sure we should get last team tonight..maybe we should put into play even possibly tomor night? Or sat..monday? Im just stuck with a draft Sunday 8:00pm OTT..Tues 7:00pm live in person draft..and Weds 8:00pm OTT..IK we all have othe obligations just putting mine here in hopes we can find a day that works for the league best..Im also not opposed to the 4th and Ill just pick up kids on waiver next day not a biggie..

• Hey all! I just claimed the FreeDivers team. I am familiar with otto as i am in another league. One of my league mates sent this league to me as i believe he claimed a team as well. Happy to join and would prefer a sep 2 or 4th draft if possible. I would also like the ability to make cuts from my team?

• Maybe set a draft date for as late as possible (like Sep 3) so prospective owners see that we are looking to get this thing airborne and that they have not missed the draft

• I looked at the claim teams page and we are now the only active league that has teams available for claim. I guess maybe we give it another week to see if there are folks that want to play as we are the last chance for existing leagues

• Fellas. Sorry to say but I think this league is toast. A word of warning about claiming other teams. Three times now I have claimed an Otto team and paid and the Commissioners in those leagues have then replaced me. Since you applied you don’t automatically get refunded. This appears now to be some sort of approach by design so I will likely not be playing much more on Otto going forward once my other leagues eventually fold as well.

• Yes I think so. I have seen in my other leagues that teams are getting claimed. I’m sure as the NFL preseason now really starts to fire up there will be more interest in joining leagues.

• Should I abandon the 5 teams so we can get the league at least filled and go from there? Worry about the side pot later or just wait another year possibly.

• Since we are trying ensure all teams have engaged managers, I vote to suspend the side action and just run with the basic $20 league with no winnings. I know that sounds kind of like a waste of time, but I think it avoids further heartburn where a new owner claims a team and then realizes that they need to pony up more money and then say heck with it and bail. Let’s try to get all teams claimed and then once owners feel good about their team we can go from there to raise the prize stakes.

• So in that case are people wanting to do no side pool and play the season straight up and adjust for next year. I talked to the owner of the site and it's not something I can change anymore obviously.

• I think the side pool will have to be a decision as to whether you want to opt in or not. Given that there are 6 teams that are abandoned, the first need will be to get those teams claimed and the new owners may not want to participate

• For everyone in the league, the entry fee was lower to $20, typically we play at $100 buy-in. Meaning those joined would have to venmo me $80, which I would then distribute out funds to the winner, 2nd place and so forth as we typically do. Please message me individually so we can get these sorted. Also if you know anyone looking to fill open slots please message me.
