• So here's the deal on tonight's game. After we complete the draft tonight I'll need everybody to let me know if they have players from tonight's game that they want to start, and where they want them to start at. Niv is going to go in and place the locked players in the starting lineup for us.

• This will be my second football draft. Our Ottonue football draft took about 3 1/2 hours. But the last hour was when cheap players were being auctioned. My team was mostly complete after two hours.

• I played fantasy baseball on ottoneu and our draft took about 5-6 hours but we also each had to fill a roster of 40 players instead of 20 players.

• I mean, if we don't draft tonight, my heart will break into a thousand tiny pieces. I am married as well and because of that fact fantasy drafts are one of the few points of joy I can look forward to in my otherwise drab existence. I will be on at 9pm waiting breathlessly for the rest of you to show up. Also, this weekend isn't great for me.

• I don't know about shortening nomination clock, you get booted if you don't nominate. But I agree we should be ready to nominate, and don't wait till last second to bid, it's not eBay. As it stands now, I'm hoping to be in the draft by 9:15, if everyone is there we can start early. Sorry for holding everybody up, I was really hoping to draft Tuesday

• I agree with starting tonight. I'm an east coaster and willing to stay up pretty late to get as far as possible. The key to having a fast draft, is that we're all ready to nominate players when it's our turn and we start nominations off at realistic values (i.e. don't start Andrew Luck at $1).

• IMO, since everyone seems on board with starting tonight at least.. I say we at least start the draft tonight and see how far we can get before everyone starts having to dip out. Maybe we can shock ourselves on how fast our draft moves tonight. And if not, we can pick it back up on another day/time we're all available

• The goal is for everybody to be able to make the whole draft, and not make your wife want to kill you. That being said, if we did Sunday evening at say 7pm EST would that work for everyone? We'll basically just skip Week 1 of the season and start with games next Thursday. Let me know your thoughts, just want it to be enjoyable for everyone.

• Starting a 4-5 hour auction draft at 9:30 EST for anyone are the east coast is pretty rough to expect to complete in one night. If we don't break it into 2 nights I think the draft should be moved to the weekend.

• The end of the draft is where the bargains are and i don't want to miss it, but 2 nights is hard. I know we would stay up late tonight, but Football starts thursday and it's hard to sell two nights to my family. I would be so nice to just bang it out in one sitting? I'll live with whatever, but I can't say that I could make the second night.
