• With college auctions starting to fire up I just wanted to remind everyone of what was decided last year regarding being over cap going into the offseason. You need to be able to fill out an NFL roster at all times and need to be at 20 players going into the offseason.

• Just as a reminder... these drafts are notoriously kinda of a disaster with lagging. From the forums looks like they were running terribly last week but seem to be in good shape now. Just everybody prepare to have to maybe pause-unpause or close out and reload a few times.

• As Poison reminded me, we need to set a draft day. Typically we have tried to do the weekend before opening Thursday. How does either Sunday Sept 3 or Monday (Labor Day) Sept 4 look for everyone? Evening

• Final update on the Championship game - Game has been canceled and the stats wiped. Not a great way to end things, but that's where we are. Congrats to our new overlord Bay Area, long may you reign.

• An update for all on our championship game - Since Supply has 2 players involved with this game and is trailing this very much affects us. Quote from Niv on where we are at right now: "For now, we’re going to postpone the end of the regular season by one day while we wait for more clarity from the NFL. We will continue to do this until the NFL gives a resumption date and time for the Bills-Bengals game, cancels the game entirely, or states that the Bills-Bengals game will start over entirely."

• We'll have to put an ongoing rule in place so the expectations are clear but Im not sure what that is right now. Can probably discuss in the offseason leading up to the draft. I would think something along the lines of you have to be able to fill out an NFL roster at all times and can't be X number of people over the cap for x amount of time. But I mean, am I going to be checking rosters every week and keeping track? Probably not so I dunno

  are you proposing this moving forwards or as a one-time measure for this year?
  we had this issue in another league and we made regulations stating teams need to be able to field a semblance of an active roster throughout the regular season (not an issue that I saw this year, but theoretically a noncompetitive team could pick up 20 college players and guarantee his opponent a win)
  And at all times, regular season, and heading into offseason, need to be fielding a 'legal' roster, under the salary cap and only over 20 players by the number of IR players

• Alright guys shit, when I said "get it in now" I didn't mean everybody go stockpile people. There has never been an issue with people being over the player cap by a few at the end of the year, but because people have and (from the looks of current auctions) continue to operate this way i've got to do something on it this year. So, by the morning of the NFL Draft (Thursday, April 27, 2023) all teams must be down to 25 players. You can keep 5 of your over cap guys, but you cut the rest. Any team that is not down to 25 by the morning of the draft will have their roster cut down to 25 by me, in reverse order of your signings. I hate doing stuff like this but multiple people have come to me with this situation so I feel like I have no choice. If you have a problem with the decision feel free to reach out to me to discuss.

• Anybody see that 50 yd run from Fields after he shook off the sack attempt, got in the endzone, but was actually out of bounds by 1 inch on the 6 yard line? That inch ended my season.
