Analysis: Hall atoned for a fumble on the Jets' second possession with a three-yard touchdown run on the next drive. He failed to get in on a two-point conversion attempt in the third quarter after the first of Allen Lazard's two touchdown catches cut the deficit to 26-13. The Jets' makeover on the offensive line and the return of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers was supposed to help open up more running lanes for Hall, but the jury's still out in that regard, as his unimpressive 3.4 yards per carry Monday can be chalked up to facing an elite 49ers defensive front. Hall got the first 21 touches among Jets running backs before rookie Braelon Allen got a pair on the team's final drive, so Hall should continue to be a three-down workhorse against the Titans in Week 2.
