  - keeper deadline is 7/31
  
  - Next season renewal deadline is 8/1
  
  - Draft date update: 6/12 teams have filled out the poll and there are now only 2 dates that every one of those teams is available - Monday Aug 19 & Tues Aug 20. So, for the 6 teams who did not fill out the poll - Wayne, Jase, Matt, Glenn, Earp/Bartman, DCraig - if the Aug 19th or 20th will not work for you make sure you let me know ASAP. Given the initial number of conflicts I would like to set a date for the draft ASAP.

• Might be a little early for this so no immediate rush to fill it out, but I started a poll to pick a draft date. If there are dates you already know won’t work for you then please try to add those in soon; otherwise fill it out when you get a chance. Assume 7:00 start time but we could adjust that if needed.

• Thanks everyone for a great season and happy new year. The season is set to end tomorrow, so there can be no additional auctions launched at this point.
  
  Hopefully everyone is planning on coming back next year, but if you are not please let me know ASAP so that we can get a replacement. Arbitration will start in mid-February and run through the end of March, so that will be the first major activity for the 2024 season.
  
  If there are any suggestions or changes to the league you want to discuss let me know. I will be sending out a note regarding at least 1 potential rule change that we will have a vote on.

• For those still paying attention, the playoff match-ups are now set. Congrats to the division winners and to AFC Richmond for squeaking in by 1/2 game during the final game of the season. Condolences to Prestige, DNR, and Otto (actually, not to Otto) for missing out by 1/2 game. Prestige may have been the best team at the end and none of the playoff teams are sad to be seeing CMac's and CeeDee's seasons end in our league; and DNR who actually had the 3rd most points scored (how about that Division C!). Good luck to all of the playoff teams, especially the Ass Clowns.
  
  Any team can still feel free to make player transactions through the end of the season on January 2.

• I will be deciding within the next two weeks whether or not i will be selling. If i decide to sell, christian mccaffery and justin jefferson will be on the block. • Hey everyone - Paydala is now live, so please set up your accounts and pay for your teams ASAP - deadline is set at October 31.
  
  I was able to renew mine without too much trouble. A few tips - 1. for me using my tablet worked best (my desktop blocked my location and my phone screen was too small so couldn't advance screens) 2. I first tried to link a credit card but that did not go through for some reason, so I linked my bank account and that worked fine. Took 5-10 minutes to get through it with all of the security codes, but went smoothly.

• Based off feedback from a few of you I am going to set the draft date for Tuesday August 29 at 6:30. Back-up date or if we need more time will be Wednesday August 30 at 6:30.
  
  If anyone has a conflict with these dates let me know as we have some flexibility for other dates.

• Just checking in with everyone as a reminder for the next league milestone date and to start conversation on the draft date.
  
  1. July 31 is the keeper deadline, so all roster cuts will need to be made before that date or you are stuck with the remaining players on your roster at their current salary.
  
  2. NFL Week 1 starts on Thursday September 7th. I am looking at the last 2 weeks of August for a draft date, so essentially sometime between August 19 - September 1. Let me know if you have conflicts for any nights or vacation weeks during that time period. Since we are starting out with partial rosters, the draft should only take 3-4 hours, so I think week nights or weekends are options.

• Nice job everyone getting your arbitration allotments done - you can feel free to make any updates prior to the end of this Friday at which point the window closes.
  
  After that the next important dates are July 31 for the keeper deadline and August 1 as the deadline to renew your team. I believe that everyone is planning on coming back for next year but if anything changes on that front please let me know ASAP.
  
  Once the NFL releases next years schedule in May, I will start with trying to get a draft date on the calendar.

• Hi Everyone - As a reminder, the arbitration process starts on Wednesday and runs for a month, so please make sure to go in and add money to everyone else's teams before March 15. For those that haven't done this before for baseball, I pasted the guidelines from the site below, but let me know if you are not clear on what to do or if you have any specific questions. Once you get started you should find it pretty straightforward (and fun as you are adding salary to players on other team).
  
  Arbitration
  -Arbitration starts on February 15 and lasts until March 15
  -Arbitration allows teams to add dollars to players on other teams in their league
  -Every team has a $60 allocation budget to utilize as they see fit
  -Every team must give every other team in their league at least $1 and no more than $8 in additional salary
  -No player can be allocated more than $4 of additional salary by another team ($44 league max)

• Hi Everyone. Just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware that all teams are still able to bid on players and make player transactions through the end of the season, even if you did not make the playoffs.
  
  Also, if you haven't already, please review the off-season rules around salary increases, arbitration (starts on 2/15), and keepers under the "RULES" tab. I will send out reminders and more information as deadlines approach, but will be to your benefit to understand what is going on.
