  So saw this thread. Just wanted to set expectations in regards to illegal rosters at the end of the year. In the most general sense, I think you need to be in a "valid" roster state going in to the offseason. Once the offseason hits and IR is removed/loans are removed your team can be "invalid" but you cannot go into the offseason "invalid".
  
  Basically, you can't start auctions for 30 players the day before the offseason and stash 50 guys on your roster going into arbitration. I will remove players starting with the most recently added until your team is in a valid state.
  
  If anyone has any questions or confusion let me know and we can discuss but I wanted to get it out there well in advance. I don't think anyone would do this as it violates the "spirit" of the game but wanted to get ahead of it before anyone thought they were slick (aka me.)

• In case anyone else didn't realize this (perhaps obvious) point: If you start an auction for someone, you are automatically entering a $1 bid for them even if you change your bid/don't bid/bid $0. I thought you could start an auction to gauge interest/change your mind, but apparently not. On another completely unrelated note that has nothing to do with this, anybody interested in Devonta Freeman?

• There is a setting for 48 hr or 24 hr, however, it will NOT allow me to change it to 24 hr at the moment. I assume it's because there are pending trades. I will try to change it again after the current batch of trades process.

• I relayed this to Jugz in private but figured it would help everyone. You can still bid even if you have no money/roster spots. If you win the bid, your roster will go into an "invalid" state and you will need to correct it before you can do anything (set lineup, trades, etc.) At that point you need to cut an appropriate person to get your roster spots and cap into a valid state. Keep in mind cap penalties and such so you don't get into a bad place cap/roster spot wise.
