• In response to El Guapo's roster issue, I have agreed to add the last 2 $1 players he cut in order to get his roster back to 20 as long as nobody objects. Since he doesn't have any Thursday night players, I'll set a deadline of Friday morning for objections.

• League mates: I have asked the commish to undo my last couple $1 drops as I misunderstood the league settings. It kept telling me that I had to drop a player to unlock my team, even below the listed 20 spots. Apparently that did nothing, as you have to have budget for spots even if you don't have a player. So each drop further put me behind. So I'm asking to undo and unlock so that I can make a trade or other drops to get back in compliance with the salary cap and roster limits. Sorry for my mistake, feel free to weigh in with other ideas if I'm missing something.

• Hey everyone, thanks for joining the draft last night and for the patience with the bugs. I saw on the message board that all leagues were having issues with the watchlists.
  
  I also noticed that there are a few teams that are set to play each other 3 times this season. I asked about it in the message board and it is a bug that should be fixed tonight. So, if you've already circled a game on your calendar, it will probably change.

• Hi Everyone. Just a quick reminder that the deadline to cut players with no salary cap implications is tomorrow before midnight Eastern time. Also, a little more than half of the league, including myself, still need to renew their teams for the upcoming season. That is also due before Aug 1. Thanks, looking forward to the season.

• We have a new member that just joined and was having issues with the payment system so he wasn't able to get access in time for arbitration. He is going to send me a list and I will manually update based on that. I am waiting on access but hope to have it done in the next 24 hours.

• Just a heads up that the arbitration period has started. You have until the end of March to apply your arbitration dollars. If you are new to this format, there is a link on the league page to the arbitration page and an explanation and instructions on arbitration there.
  
  In other news, all of the open teams have been claimed, so we are back to a full league. Looking forward to next season.

  Now that the season is over, I have gotten questions about the status of winnings. I posted about this back in November, but will cover it again so everyone is aware.
  
  Because of the delay in the league payment deadline, we all were able to play most of the season before paying. Two teams, Camaya and Hogs, never paid and abandoned their teams midseason. Since the league was not filled with paying members, it was bumped down to a non-prize league and the difference in cost was refunded to all of us who paid. This is especially unfortunate for the two teams that would have won prize money. I tried to recruit owners mid-season for these teams but nobody was willing to pay $50 for a half a season of a last place team.
  
  I don't expect we will have this issue again, all of us that have paid will be required to renew prior to the start of the 2024 season. We are still listed as a $50 league, so we don't have to worry about being left in the non-prize tier. We just need to make sure we fill the two open spots prior to the draft.

  We have two teams that did not pay by the due date (Camaya and Hogs). According to Niv, these teams will be automatically abandoned tonight.
  
  There is a thread about this on the message board and this is what will happen if we have teams that are unpaid for:
  "If your league has an expired team that was not paid for this season, we do a check that will result in your league being bumped down to a non-prize league and prize portion of the league fees returned to everyone who paid."
  
  I don't want the top 2 teams to miss out on prize money, so I will be actively trying to fill these spots but if you have friends interested in dynasty football, please let them know about these two teams.

• I have no problem with the commissioner setting Camaya's lineup. Camaya's team does not have a tight end, but all of the other spots can be filled.

• Shiva…I am a commissioner in another league have the same problem there (owner is missing). Niv let me know that Commissioners cant set line ups for other teams so nothing can be done in that regard.

• I am hopeful we hear from Camaya soon. If he hasn't checked in by Thurs, does anyone have a problem with me setting his lineup as best as possible? I'm annoyed that the transition to Paydala caused the renewals to be pushed to during the end of this month, I hope we don't have any in-season defections.

• Hey everyone, looking forward to the season. I have taken over commissioner duties with Boomer Bop leaving the league. A few items for the league:
  1. The last date to cut players penalty free is July 31, one week from tomorrow.
  2. Currently, there are 3 divisions. Is anyone opposed to changing it to one division to ensure the 4 best teams make the playoffs? In the past, there have been teams that missed the playoffs with a better record than a division winner.
  3. I want to throw some dates out for the draft and see if anyone has conflicts. We’ve typically done our drafts starting around 8 pm Eastern, so I’ll likely target that time this year as well. The season starts Sept. 7, so I’d like to get as close to that as possible. Does anyone have issues with any of: Aug 26 (Saturday), Aug 27 (Sunday), Sept. 4 (Monday/Labor Day)?

• Yeah that's usually the only major thing you would need to handle. Also have had to deal with a couple random occurrences of guys being accidentally dropped or allowing owners to make cuts after the keeper deadline (if they joined the league late). Overall, doesn't take much time at all to manage.
