• I’m going to change the trade review period to 24 hours instead of 48 unless enough folks have strong opinions against it. I imagine most of us would prefer to get our new players as soon as possible once games get going.

• Yeah, I generally wait until the last minute to cut anyone I think may have trade value. And that seems to be the recommended method by the community. But there’s no rules about it and folks can do as they please.

• I know people are anxious to cut the "dead weight," but how about waiting a bit to see if any trades materialize? If everyone makes final cuts now, there is a much smaller pool of players available doe trades.

• Somehow, as a collective group, we all didn’t put any arbitration dollars towards Brunson sitting there at $13. That’s quite the phenomenon.

• Welcome and glad to have you. So far we’ve had a good 8-10 owners that are pretty active and like 2-3 teams that seemingly rotate in and out of interest. We hope you stick with us.
  
  As for timelines, we just ended arbitration and have officially entered the off-season. You are free to make penalty-free cuts on your roster and trade with other teams and get yourself under the cap and prepared for the auction draft…date still to be determined but usually late Sept or early October. August 31st is the deadline to make cuts and trades and then rosters lock until the draft is complete.

• Yeah, I got backed into a hole at the end of the week with Irving, DeRozan, and Johnson all missing games earlier. My fatal error was having plans Saturday night and not being attentive to my phone when Fox was ruled out. Should've known better, no plans allowed during the playoffs.

• Looks like Brickowski had a missed G/F game. This happened to me a couple times in the early season where you'd miss a game to injury and suddenly didn't have enough days to fill a lineup. If you prorate his 29 games played, all four playoff teams would have ended in the 1180-1150 range which is pretty hilarious. Anyway, good luck to Publish and Sportsbong though I do hope you both lose. I know it's statistically unlikely, but I hate you both equally.

• I'm keen to make a deadline trade. There's a pack of teams in the playoff hunt which is fun but maybe means fewer sellers. I've lucked into a three game lead on the last spot with three to play and one game against the never setting a lineup Nashbrowns. I don't care about seeding so I have an opportunity here that I can take on short term injured guys as long as they'll be back later. If you're in the hunt but have some guys that aren't available I can swap availability for future production. I've sent some offers out, but if you want to make a deal as well just let me know and I'm sure we can work something out.

• I was impressed that after a hard fought week, we managed to see a tie. It's amazing that after no single game played, both the Peach Baskets and Nashbrowns scored exactly zero. An irresistible force met an immovable object and both refused to participate.

• The top two teams in total points (Bill Walton's Sportsbong and Publish or Parish) both have exactly 15,841 points. It doesn't really matter, but I was looking at the standings and it seemed like an outlier to have a tie 15 weeks in.
