• Day 3 saw the gap narrow, as Ingrams had four 50+ days plus a 49 from Lillard. Meanwhile, Brick had 2 60+ performances and 2 duds. Ingrams gets up to a 40.92 average with 18 GP left, Brick drops to 43.62 with 17 GP left. Ingrams has 5 guys currently slated to go tonight(4 of them on the 2nd night of a B2B), while Brick has 3, all of which are rested.

• Haha! I'm loving this play by play! I've got some lingering injuries with LeBron, Edwards, and Tatum but they've been playing under the questionable tag more often than not. Fingers crossed it holds up, cause the drop off to Bogdan and Keldon is huge.

• Day 2 was light on the schedule, Ingrams had a team-wide DNP, while Brick got 3 50+ performances bringing up him up to 46 PPG game with 21 left to play. Ingrams stays at 39.8 with 25 left to play. Ingrams looks to close the gap tonight with 7 guys currently going while Brick has 4. Giannis is sitting which may give Lillard a big boost tonight.

• I briefly considered tanking the last few weeks to try and get a better matchup but no guarantee it would work and ultimately seemed silly. I've accepted my fate as the 2018-19 Warriors and expect some injury (Trae Young already down) or random games off by my best players after this week or terrible match-ups.

• Nothing to play for this week since PorP gets the 2 seed for sure. I guess CGT could bench all his dudes hoping I score enough to get the top seed and an unfavorable semifinal matchup, but I don't think I can make up 1200+ points mainly because I would make sure that I didn't.

• Hi all. I noticed, browsing abandoned teams, that there's a setting option to have multiple matchups per week. So for example, if we selected "3," then each team would be matched up with three others in a given week. Based on how one's point total matched up with the other three teams, one would end up with a record of 3-0, 2-1, 1-2, or 0-3... might be a nice option to help balance out the issues inherent in head-to-head (i.e. putting up a huge week, but losing to the only other team also putting up a huge week). • I also do not care for the condensed week of games. Seems obvious to just combine this week and next week (8 instead of 7 days of games) into one H2H week. Or better yet, give me my full season points league and get rid of H2H altogether.

• And the nba trade deadline passes, didn’t seem like any trades that should affect things too much. I was worried Tyus Jones was going to get moved into a more reserve role somewhere but looks like stays put. With Gafford moved, Bagley’s minutes might shoot up if he stays healthy. Otherwise a lot of backups and depth got moved.

• I like the H2H aspect of things. I think there are always trade offs to make in assembling any fantasy system and I enjoy this ottoneu format so overall I'm happy with it. The rules page states that leagues can have 1,2, or 3 divisions. I just propose that we move to 1. If there was some schedule difference between divisions then it's fine, but in this case it just seems arbitrary. Publish or Parish is at least a good team (though he's without Embiid now). It could have easily been the case that he was also in the Jordan Division and then we'd have two 7-8 teams battling for a playoff spot.

• probably for the same dumb reasons we're forced to play H2H on a weekly schedule when it makes no sense in a points league, or have to force 30 games into the 3 short weeks of scheduled games, or finish the season a couple weeks before the actual season ends or guys are assigned positions based off the preseason rosters sent out by the teams and data provider rather than what they actually start or play during the season (I get what they play would be tough to quantify, but it's quite easy to set it like baseball based off starting lineups, 5 games started at a position gives that player eligibility at that position).
  
  It should be a season long points league like baseball with no playoffs. Presuming Niv doesn't give us that option this offseason though, I'll put up a vote and see if we want to go to one division which is fine by me. I don't know why divisions were even offered if the schedule remains balanced.

• Why does this league have two divisions? We don't play our division-mates anymore than anybody else. I play everybody twice except the teams I was assigned last in the schedule which are Walden Two (who is not in my division) and Brickowski for 3 (who is in my division). I play them each once. It seems like we're just randomly gifting Publish or Parish a playoff spot for no reason while four other teams battle it out for three spots. If the argument is "well, we set it up that way and so that's the way it is," I can't really argue with that, but nothing about the league schedule seems to force things to stay that way. At the very least, we should go to a single division in the future.
