• hey y'all, so it turns out that Shake&Bake was still designated as having a round of penalty-free cuts after some issues with payment around the deadline and Johnson was their first cut of the year. Due to that, I'm going to let the transaction stand as is, but definitely something I will keep in mind for any future situations involving penalty-free cuts.

• Weird schedule this week due to the In-Season Tournament! We've got two games on Tuesday and two more on Wednesday for the quarterfinals. I think the Tuesday games will have another game scheduled for the 15th (Sunday) while the Wednesday ones will get a game on the 16th (next Monday), so be sure to check back in by the Thursday night games since those new games should be populated on the Ottoneu schedule view by then.

  The season officially ends on 3/31 - please be legal by then. I suspect arbitration will start on 5/1 again this year, but Niv hasn't posted the official calendar for the 24-25 season.

  IMO I should have sent a message about the deadline earlier and maybe caught that error in the process, especially since in my head 1/31 wasn't the trade deadline anymore (it's the baseball cut deadline and having them line up caused a headache in year 1 for basketball, iirc), so apologies from me that it wasn't caught sooner!

• Reminder that this week is a little funky due to the NBA In-Season Tournament! The quarterfinalists (LAL, PHX, SAC, NOP, BOS, IND, NYK, MIL) will have an additional game show up on the schedule after the first round of games is done. Those semifinal games will count towards the regular season.
