• Actually, I made the move manually. I wanted someone in place for the draft...so I’ve posted it everywhere to get picked up. I’d messaged him that he had 2-3 days to respond...he hasn’t even looked at direct messages since the 20th, so, it was an easy move.

• Great point, that's absolutely fair...any such owner should announce via the board "I'm not connecting well..." or something to that effect, but likely we'll all know if we're having issues.

• I think it's a good idea as long as you are prepared to give some leeway if people are having connectivity issues. I did a draft a few nights ago and some people were having trouble nominating in time, although the issues did seem to lessen after the first half hour or so.

• One thing I'd like to implement for our draft, and would like feedback on is allowing three missed nominations. Meaning that when it's your turn to nominate, if you miss three of them you are "frozen" and thus can't make any additional nominations. This would help with draft speed, and general efficiency and fairness throughout. Any objections?

Happy to potentially move and add another stream for chatter (but know some won't adopt, and that's ok)...but we still have to respect the league board, and the league rules. If you don't agree with something, we can talk about making changes, but as it stands please read the charter before popping off.

• There is a very unpleasant odor to this sudden commissioner change. And I don't mean the secondbaseman. We suddenly replace a commissioner who is doing an excellent job with someone who doesn't read his emails and therefore misses the start of the draft and is pissed off like it wasn't his fault. And so his first act is to announce a do over draft to make things good for himself and fuck everybody else in the league who was responsible and showed up. I mean, what the hell?

• He didn't read the part in the charter that states: "Each owner will have up to 12 hours during each round to select and post their player to the league message board immediately following the selection of the preceding team. Owners that exceed the 12 hour timeline for their pick will enable the next team(s) in order to select when ready."

• I think Chris (Vegas) should remain Commissioner. I’m a short-timer here but a long-time Commish in numerous fantasy leagues. He’s done a good job of making sure messages and reminders are sent. If someone isn’t happy with that or feels they can do better, there are plenty of options out there for you.

• Correction, WBF...the original date was posted on 1/23, and then again on 1/30. A reset draft would put everyone at a competitive disadvantage for sure. I LOVE the guys I got, so I certainly wouldn't want to either.

• I'm not okay with a reset of the draft quite frankly. I'm pleased with the two prospects I got. The only reason I feel that you want to do that is because you feel like you got screwed when the draft started. It's not our fault that you were late to the party, especially when the date was determined back on 1/30 and was posted about numerous times in here.

• Just so I’m clear on what’s going on: Vegas has stepped down and HLA is now Commish. His first order of business is to reset a draft that, it apears, everyone was aware of. Messages were posted, emails sent. I’m brand new here and I took the time to read/learn the leagues rules. If this is all true, maybe we need to figure out a new Commissioner, preferably one who won’t make rash, unfair decisions within minutes of taking place over! I, for one, am not at all interested in drama.

• A draft that has occurred cannot be reset, especially one that occurred as laid out in the league's constitution. As a league we can look at ways to improve it for next year, someone mentioned using Discord or Slack.

• You're assuming all people can be present on a Sunday night? There's a distinct difference between being "able" to be present, and choosing not to read messages so as to not be present. But if we can get the date on the schedule for next year that might be ideal, it can be placed in the charter so no one misses it.
