Ha. Ron was criticized for the Gallen/Clase for Strider/Bednar trade in the fall, and he's winning that one so far. A lot of current and future value exchanged for right now. If it works, great. If it doesn't, Punx wins as I cut 3 or 4 of those players in the winter. Hard to value how other owners view $60 assets and #1 prospects in the same deal.
-
That might be the most veto worthy trade I've ever seen.
-
We’ve got some Bryce Miller fans in here!
-
That would also be me defying the odds. 😆
-
Punx: Soon you will be in first and lose every tie anyway 😎
-
What have we done to anger the ottoneu gods?

I am 0/12 over multiple leagues....
-
0/4 on coin flips...
-
Looks like that web address needs a final forward slash to work, so it is https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/opl/. :)
-
Hey folks! Just a quick reminder that this league is OPL eligible. If you finished 6th or above last season you can enter your squad to compete across all of Ottoneu in a super fun best ball format. Check out the rules & enter a squad here: https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/opl. I have a couple of teams entered from other leagues.
-
I, for one, will be happy to see the coin-flip-determines-results feature disappear with the start of the regular season because I am now 0/3.
-
Yes, thanks - it's helpful for everyone to know
-
Not a change, I just needed a review and thought I'd share.
-
Yes, that has always been the case for preseason waiver claims
-
I was curious how our defending champion ended up winning the waiver claim for Luis Urias today. Here's the rule:
When a player is dropped, other team managers have 24 hours to claim him on waivers for 100% of his salary, with the team lowest in the standings getting priority. If the regular season has not begun yet, a coin flip will determine who is awarded the player.

In the market for a catcher. I have a lot of good pitching.
-
If anybody has an extra outfielder please let me know.
-
I have moved the draft time to 6pm EST.
-
It sure would help me out to move it to 6pm if that works for others.
-
March 19 works great for me, and I'm good with holding the draft earlier in the day.
-
I can do 6:00 pm EST, but would not want to push it any earlier at this point as I may have another draft in the afternoon. Should know for sure in the next few days.
-
I put in 7pm EST as a default, but it could just as easily be 3pm or 5pm EST if it works for others. I just need feedback. :)
-
I can make the 19th work but can only be on for an hour because I have another ottoneu draft at 8pm.
-
Okay, I have tentatively scheduled the draft for Sunday March 19 at 7pm EST because so far this seems to work for all who have responded. If this date doesn't work for any of you let me know and we will see what we can do.
-
The 19th would work on our side.

I can't do 2/26 as I am traveling that weekend. I could do Saturday 3/4, Sunday 3/19 and Sunday 3/26 if we need to do it on a weekend. Also could probably make certain weeknights work.
-
Could 2/26 be an option? Little early, but probably better than late March. I can flex if we want to come off of Sundays. A Thursday night or Saturday morning could work. I'll step out and Punx can give us options from the Commissioner's chair.
-
Hudsons, the 17/18 of March is a Friday/Saturday, but is Sunday the 19th out for you as well?
-
We're available most weekends, cannot do 17/18 or 26th though.

I cannot do the weekend of 3/10-3/12
-
I am flexible for pretty much any day, I only ask that you all remember I am on Atlantic Standard Time (1 hour later than EST) and so the earlier in the day/evening the better for me.
-
I have a draft in another league on 3/5, but could do 3/12.
-
As for draft date, I think we have typically done the first (or close to) Sunday evening in March. Do we want to look at the first couple Sunday's in March? 3/5 and 3/12
-
Welcome!
-
Welcome to the league!
-
Hello all. Just joined. Will make my cuts later today. Looking forward to playing with all of you.
-
Seems we didn't have a new owner for No Trouble Jr. An individual did take over the team and I did try to communicate with them, but they never responded to me nor did they renew the team (which was why they were booted out by the system). So we remain one owner short of a full league. Stay tuned.
-
We have a new owner of No Trouble Jr., so after they have had some time to make cuts to their team we will need to start discussing a plausible draft date and time.
-
Monitoring offers as well. No untouchables, but it has to make sense. 6-8 weeks of ice after tonight!
-
I am open for trading as well. Everyone on my team is available in the right trade. I will respond quickly to any offers.
-
Happy keeper deadline day everyone - inbox is open for last minute trade talks

No Trouble Jr. has informed me that they will be unable to attend to their team for the upcoming season and asked me to mark them as abandoned. I will wait a few days before I do so in the event any of you have a friend or colleague who may be interested in playing ottoneu. If you do, please let me know and I can hook them up with the team. Otherwise I will mark No Trouble Jr. abandoned and hope for the best.

Lynn, May or Cortes for a comparable OF if anyone needs SP.
-
Trades are happening! Good to see. Strider wearing #99 next year is pretty awesome. Black Tuesday (cuts) are around the corner. Good luck fellas.
-
Strider could be SP1 after this season ... or he gets hurt. Based on 2022 numbers, I gave away more points, but 2023 is a new year
-
Fair enough. I'm not vetoing either to be clear.
-
I would have paid the iron price for strider too. Huge fan. Not gonna veto
-
Quality baseball trade with 4 good players, no salary dumping or prospect clutching. Loser of the deal is whichever of these 4 requires TJ first.
-
We shall see
