If we hold the draft on Mar 23, stats from the two games in Japan would not count for us. That is confirmed with Niv (Ottoneu). For me, it's really a non-issue - just not a big consideration. I've looked at dates from the various responses, as well as my own schedule, and it seems that Mar 11 or 12 at 730p central could possibly be options. But even there, I am concerned whether 5x5 can make it as he is west coast. So, let me know if you want to hold Mar 23 or explore Mar 11 or 12.

Agree with Hoosier. I am flexible. March 16, 17, 18 are the only nights I’d need to avoid between now& March 20.

My suggestion is we TRY to find a date that works for everyone, earlier in the month. If a date cannot be found then March 23 can be used as the backup.

Need some feedback from the group. When we set our draft date to Mar 23 we thought it would be prior to the season starting. Since then, the two game series (Mariners v A's) has been set for Mar 20, 21. The rest of the season kicks off Mar 28. We can hold our draft date on Mar 23 and potential miss two games of production from players available to be drafted. Or, we can explore moving our draft time / time. A move could be met with conflicts of course. Thoughts?

Keeper deadline is TONIGHT at 11:59p Eastern time. And I want to make sure we are all aware that we must allocate $1 minimum for each of our 40 roster spots. Per the rules "Owners must always be able to field a 40 man roster for $400; therefore following the keeper deadline, a team salary must never exceed $360 + the number of players on the roster. However, there is no salary cap from the end of the MLB season until the keeper deadline."

So no one gets caught off guard - the keeper deadline is set at end of day eastern time on Jan 31. That is this Thu and if you are in the central time zone it will actually be 10:59p. And if you are west coast, well, do your math 5x5 Tool Player!

This Thu, Jan 31, is the keeper deadline. Any cuts have to happen by then. Once the deadline passes we are locked through the draft, which is Mar 23. The countdown clock says 90 days and 22 hours till opening day! Spring training, right around the corner.
