Thanks, I am sending the email now.

If it helps, I received mine October 14th, so I'm guessing it is around then for you, too.

Payouts are standard across all ottoneu leagues. You should have received a prize into your PayPal account. If not, you'll have to reach out to ottoneu. There's an email address: help@ottoneu.com

Is there prize money associated with this league for coming in 2nd place? If so how much. I didn't get any.
-
I was thinking about that too. We are down 2 managers right now, so please let us know if you find anyone. I did post in the slack channel for Otto.
eulipions and hoyas.
We will get some dates and times set up soon.

Probably time to get the draft date survey started. March 28 will be here before we know it.

I'm good with 7.

Correct me if I'm wrong: it sounds like: Godot, Mess, Deep - 7. Eulipions, Zelig - 9. Glory, Paisley - either but lean 7. Let's wait to hear from a few others to see if anyone leans more towards 9. Otherwise, it sounds like 7 is probably the answer for this league.

I prefer 7.

I prefer 9.

Iβm in for 9

I'm with Mr. Glory on this point. I like the concept of a pitcher for every day of the week. Everyone is on the same level. Ace pitchers will only have 2 starts every now and then... I can see scenarios where I'd be hesitant to run out my 4th or 5th pitcher in a double week. That said, I won't necessarily go heavy on pitching at the expense of an extra bat who can play multiple positions if we go to 9 starts. We've done 7, I'm willing to try 9.

Zelig, you keep bringing up the example of having two studs pitch twice in a week as if that is common. How many stud pitchers are there in MLB? Let's be generous and say 15. We have 12 teams in our league, so assuming a reasonable distribution of said studs, somebody MAY have 3 of them if they're super lucky. How often will two of those three have two starts in a week? I like 7 starters but would be fine with 9 if that's what people want. I just don't see it as a huge deal. Depth still helps.
-
7 is a different type of challenge than 9. You have to be more selective. There is nothing better or worse, itβs a different challenge.
-
Godot, 6 SP is different than most leagues but tell my why it a better than having 9? As in real baseball the depth of the starting pitchers should important. Here if you have two top pitchers going twice that week you only have to use 3 others starting pitcher. 6 doesn't value pitching depth and it should. 9 would be better.
-
Iβm in 9 other leagues and they all have more starts then our current 7. As i said before, 9 seems to be the right number.
-
I don't mind 7 starts. It is a nice change from other leagues I'm in that have more. But If folks are itching for a change, I don't mind hearing from them. I personally haven't thought about fantasy for a month or so, so I'm just starting to think about trades now. I expect things will pick up a little as we head to the roster lock deadline at the end of the month.
-
I am in 7 leagues and this is the only one I am in that I haven't made a trade. I have been involved in 21 failed trade attempts since November. Now I don't have much left to trade but I am still trying.SP Keller for an outfielder. Let me know ASAP.
-
Or at least in March.
-
Opening day is 3/30/2023, so second or third week in March?
-
Draft day... I would suggest deep into spring training... don't know the dates...
-
Draft day?

I am still looking to make a trade.

No worries, I came across a bit harsher than intended. Fantasy Football playoffs are getting ready to get started, I think we will get it filled by January sometime. Regarding updating starts, I am interested in talking about it, but will need to discuss with MidCoast first. Personally, I like the need to strategize a bit with 7 starts BUT I don't like that those longer weeks are constrained to just 7.

Let's relax here. Yes, we are looking for an owner for Hoyas. No luck yet.

Are we going to get a new owner the Hoyas who hasn't been on since July? This is the only league that I am that hasn't made a trade.

In the other leagues I'm in 9 seems to be the perfect number.

As in real baseball the depth of the starting pitchers should important. Here if you have two top pitchers going twice that week you only have to use 3 other starting pitcher. Depth should be needed and rewarded in this league and IMO it is not.In most of the leagues I am in the use 8- 10.

Sure, I think we should talk about it, too... Never had a league where that was an option. How does increasing the number of starts help the strategy of the game? Challenges? Benefits?

Can we talk about getting more than 7 starts per week for SP?

One more week to complete Arbitration! Still awaiting J's Place, Injury Bug, and Hoyas! (whom are not returning, so if anyone knows someone who would like to join let me or Deep know).
-
While you are here, an Arbitration Reminder: Allocate your arbitration dollars prior to 11:59pm Nov 14th. This is very important as it keeps the balance in the league. If you don't allocate ALL of your $25, none of it will be allocated and you will only hurt yourself, as you will receive increases from everyone and they will get to skip some money from you.
If you are leaving & haven't told us, please be kind and at least do arbitration before you go. (And tell us you are l

Bronze is below Silver. Ottoneu reorders the division in the display according to points earned. So technically Bronze outplayed Silver this season (thanks, in large part, to you and me). Ottoneu doesn't understand our system cause we are so cultured.
-
Congrats ! I'm already in Silver, what below that? Plastic??
-
Thanks! I can finally change my team's name now!
-
Congratulations Everyone! And Dave for living up (finally) to his name. Zelig and Deep State earn promotion and J's Place and Eulipions are relegated down. Divisions will reflect this when the season starts next year. If you are not returning let me or Deep State know asap. Arbitration starts in 9 days!

Congratulations to Return to Glory. I just didn't have enough and you did. Way to go.

Yeah- found it: 2nd week of finals is 10 days: here is Niv's take: "I should explicitly point out that the 2nd week of the finals this year is 10 days because MLB slapped 3 days to the end of the season to make up for not starting the season on time. There will not be a second reset on October 3. "

Yes, the finals are 2 weeks long*. 7 starts reset on Monday of the second week of Finals. *However, this year there are 3 extra days in the final week of finals and, if I'm reading Niv correctly- those will be a part of the playoffs. So the second week of finals will have 10 days and 7 starts for that "week".
-
7 starts per week in the finals? I am just making sure.

I am in need of a bat mostly at OF but could do someone at 38. Baty and Casas are available with other prospects.
