I'll make the trade as originally planned. I agree that Joe Smith is a throw-in, but if he has the same role next season he's certainly worth having. Ultimately we are both gambling on this deal. Beachy could be a huge deal, but he could easily throw out his arm and miss two years, as that's just how it goes with pitchers. My team sucks too much right now to bank on upside.
