thanks brent. can EVERYONE please confirm that works?

I have changed the draft date and time to Wednesday, March 30th at 9 PM. Let us know if there are any issues. Thank you!

30th, night time, fine for me
-
I feel like you guys all know me pretty well by now. I like baseball more than I like most people, so I’m pretty good about working my schedule around fantasy baseball drafts.

Yeah, i will be out all week in Arizona. The season is starting just in time so i can catch a Diamondbacks game on the 8th while i'm out there! The 30th or 31st would work for me and the evenings are good. Especially since i am in the central time zone.

I have an evening meeting on the 31st after our baseball practice. If possible, I'd prefer the 30th. Either of those times would be fine with me too.
-
Sounds like everyone is in agreeance to push it back some.
Brian... I am assuming you will be out all week on vacation?
The 30th or 31st would give us exactly 1 week before opening day on April 7th. Since that would be a weeknight, my guess is we would have to have a late start time (8:30 or 9) with all of the small people we have become responsible for over the years. I am fine with either.
Open to other thoughts.

I'm going on vacation on April 1 and likely won't have service the while I'm away. Would it be possible to hold the draft by Thursday March 31st?

Agree, push it closer to opening day.

same
-
I agree to push near opening day.
-
I vote we push it back closer to opening day
-
What is everyone thinking about draft day? It’s currently less than 2 weeks away. Still a lot of free agents to be signed.
Do we push it back or keep it as is?

added you two as commissioners, so you guys can update the draft date/time if Dave and I are unavailable
-
Brent, I agree. If the season is pushed back, it is logical to push back our draft time to account for the frenzy of transactions that is expected.
-
This lockout doesn’t have me too optimistic about the regular season starting on time. If the delay of the season’s start becomes a reality, closer to time, I propose we push back the draft date to factor in the swarm of free agency that will occur when both sides get over themselves. Thoughts?

Everyone, the arbitration feature has been activated. Please remember that we voted that all owners must particpate in arbitration. If you have questions about it, shoot me an email. Thanks!

2022 League Dues: David, Richard, and Ryan paid their league dues out of 2021 winnings.
-
Thank you everyone for paying your league dues from last season!
-
Fyi... Richard accidentally auctioned Ryan burocki and let me know immediately that it was a mistake. I couldn't undo the auction so I waited until the add/cut went through and removed his cap penalty.
-
Don’t forget final cuts must be made before 11:59!
-
Everyone has renewed their teams, so we're good on that front! Remember final cuts are due in a few days! Thanks guys.
-
Hello everyone! Chris Roth will be replacing Jack. He will be updating his team name and preparing for cuts, etc. soon.

If anyone with a gmail address has emailed me and I haven't responded, please resend. I accidentally blocked the gmail domain rather than a specific gmail address haha.

Please double check your players' prior salary vs. their current salary and let me know if I made any mistakes.

Good evening everyone! Michael and Tavan mistakenly forgot to assign at least $1 to every other team during the arbitration process. Rather than ignore this, David and I thought it would be best to fix the mistake and allow the arbitration process to help correct the market as it is intended. That said, I have updated the prices of 29 players to reflect what they had submitted with a couple of minor modifications to keep them witin the "rules" of arbitration. Just wanted to give a

Can everyone please clear their trade block or replace it with updated information? If you could post “UPDATED” when you do so, so everyone knows it’s current, that’d be suuuper.

Hey everyone! Just a reminder that Arbitration ends Saturday, November 14, 2020. Please remember that, at our initial draft, we agreed that participation in arbitration would be required. When possible, please carve out a few minutes and get this done. I will do the same, as I've been AWOL.

Congratulations, Tavan!

Agree with playing as normal for 60, rolling into next year if it’s a shorter year

Agreed with everyone else
-
I also agree, if they get a full 60-game season in, then continue as normal. If not, rollover to next year.
-
I am fine with playing as normal as long as a full 60 games are played. IF not, then roll the money into next season.
Arbitration wise, Niv is giving the option of opting out. I look at this like I look at the season. If all 60 are played, then we go through with it but if not, we opt out.

I agree with both of those statements... which is surprising since they came from burdick
-
I’m fine with that. I don’t think that there’s any way that they play a full 60-game slate though. I think it’d be best to roll that money over to next year if they don’t play a full schedule.

Dave said: If they complete a "full" 60 game mlb season then i think we run our league like any other year.
-
Good morning everyone! Had an owner ask about the season. Do you guys want to wager $ on a shortened season or just play for fun? Personally, I don't care either way. Please comment with your thoughts on that and/or anything else MLB'Rona2020.

Is anyone else clawing at the walls with no sports on? Or am I the only one?
