• Hi everyone - I just took over the team that SABRtooth tigers left. I just read through and got up to speed on the league drama.
  Only 1 of the open auctions was initiated by my team. I'm planning on following the commish's latest message and not bidding on the other auctions that were presumably started by Krazy. I'm going to start some auctions and I'm assuming that I'm just bidding against Krazy for those guys.

• To be clear to the entire league, you can still put players up for auction, but you cannot bid on any auctions you did not put up through this Sunday March 16th (unless you're Krazy). If Krazy outbids you, then so be it, if not then you get the player.

• In the end, while I understand your point, that's the advantage that you get for missing the draft. I understand that's not a fair trade, but is actually a strategy I've seen teams use.
  You still have to want to roster the player that's up for bid. If that means everyone for a while, then so be it.

• The only thing I'm worried about is that I will have a lot of money during the season and could potentially win every single waiver claim. And I think that everyone would grow to despise my donutz for that. Hopefully it won't come to that, but just wanted to bring it up as a potential speed bump down the road. Thank you all again. Its an unfortunate situation, but other than what we're offering which is to not bid on any guys that they put up for auction, there isn't anything we can do at this point.

• I’m more than willing to not bid. I am also willing to work trades on players I drafted that might interest the teams who missed the draft. Sabretooth is right, it should be fun and whatever I can do to keep things going, I would love to help. Typically you lose one or two owners a year but usually because of time commitments or finances not because owners are disgruntled. Fingers crossed 🤞

• Hey guys, I did message the league, in reply to Saxonville and saying we would push the time back as he requested, which I did right after that message on the 10th. I never mentioned moving the draft date or doing any type of slow couch draft, so the assumption should have been we were moving forward with the draft date that was set for two weeks. I'm sorry this happened, but everyone else including Saxonville was aware of when the draft was based off the messages sent out to the league.

• How about this, people nominate players SABRtooth wants (and KKD if he wants), and then bid the required $1. Put in the chat you are nominating for SABRtooth and no one else bids on the player. SABRtooth bids $2 and gets the player for $1. A self-managed way to get to SABRtooth's request

I’m not even sure that I could field a team even if we do split the players up. I’ve never missed a draft in my life either. And my team was really strong last year. So I’m just not sure yet. Would sure be nice if the commissioner chimed in.

• Fairbanks - I get the intent of your comment but it is kinda offensive. Based on the commish's inactivity, you notice he isn't responding, we made someone draft late at night driving home from the wake of someone close to the family. That is kinda terrible, baseball is second fiddle. There are a tons of messages on here asking for it to be moved. I have never missed a draft in my life. I received nothing from Otto or anyone that the draft was moved back or happening.

• Why don't we try to fix this so that everyone is happy and we can go on with the league, baseball is just around the corner, it should be easy to fix. Maybe Commish should of sent a post to inform us of draft final date and timing. Personally, I got the info last minute, don't remember where. Let's give them opportunity to pick their players from free agent pool. The only thing is that Donuts will quite a bunch of money left for loans, waivers and auctions, that could unbalance the league

• It seems as though we have a commissioner that is not very active so commissioner, if you read this, please reach out to me because I would like to abandon my team. I play fantasy baseball as a source of joy and happiness and competitiveness. It doesn't matter what I say or do at this point in time. You can just go to an 11 team league or a 10 team league or find someone who wants a lame team and just put my players on waivers. It's too bad because I enjoyed this league.

• And I guess when you say there was enough communication for 10 of the owners, I don't know anybody in this league personally whatsoever. So I don't know if that's the reason why no one tried to text me or email me or send me a message here and Otteneu to let me know the draft for starting and asked me if I was coming. • Thanks for your understanding Fairbanks… However even though it was pushed back 2 hours, which I did notice, I still was going by the last thing the commissioner posted which was that he would find a later date and time. I tip my cap to you other 10 owners that figured it out. I am generally a savvy fantasy baseball player and I've been doing it for over two decades. I've never had a situation like this.
