How does one day give me an advantage? I can assure you this was not anything other than a mistake. I do understand that if it were to happen frequently, you would have an issue, but one day late doesn't seem to be a big deal for someone who has been in this league for years. I would imagine you would want a shot at some of the players I'm releasing? Also, I would think you'd want to keep a really active manager who's been in your league to stay. Believe me, the continuity is important.

I don’t care either way as a new owner would need to make cuts. But I will say OTTONEU has the same rules and deadlines across all leagues every year. Every owner and every baseball podcast knows the dates. I expect owners to go absent in yahoo public leagues, not OTTONEU - which is why I play OTTONEU and not yahoo. Let’s not be yahoo.

all the other teams played by the rules, making cuts later provides you with an advantage, i vote against allowing this, regardless of the outcome i think seka needs to pass the commissioner duties to someone else, not necessarily myself, maybe season 4 and run ham, my apologies to the other founding teams that i forgot

I lost a team in my other league that I had since the inception of the league and I went to find it and it looks like someone else claimed it oh man. Life has been a little nuts. I suppose I'll just concentrate on this one. Since I'm commissioner I'm going to make cuts for my team if that's OK with everyone?? I'll wait to hear from you guys to make sure no one feels like it would be bad for the league, but the cut deadline seems to benefit everyone when teams make cuts.

Oh no guys. I dropped off the face of the Earth there and forgot to pay my dues. I got this team back, but I didn't get to make my cuts. Would you guys pretty please make an exception for me and let me make late cuts. It would probably benefit everyone as they were be more players in the draft. I've been in this league a long time and I'm hoping you'll make an exception for me? I apologize for the oversight. Things just got really crazy and I don't start thinking about baseball until Feb.

Thanks pargo I took over his commish job in the other league, he didn't renew so the site will take his team and new owner gets a round of cuts when it's taken over

Somehow I'm commissioner. The dinner mashers made me commissioner on his way out even though I never asked for it. Is anyone here willing to be commissioner? I am commissioner in three other leagues. If not, I'll handle it, but will someone help me organize a draft time next year? Create a doodle poll? Let's replace these four empty teams.
