so am I. It filled so fast. I have a team in another league that I really wanted to get into it. . .
-
Modesto, I saw the OPL logo next to your name and just read up on it. I'm jealous it's already full. Good luck.
-
Awesome, draft day has been finalized. Thanks again everyone for doing the poll, looking forward to it!
-
Sorry I missed the poll was up, been crazy at work! 3/14 @ noon works for me!
-
Looking like it's going to be Sunday March 14th 9am PST 12 EST. We're 10/10 so far on that time. Unless another time gets 11/12 votes it won't change.
-
7 respondents so far, please complete poll if you haven't. Right now the majority vote is going with 3/14 or 3/7. Thanks.
-
Thanks for posting the poll, commish!
-
Draft poll posted. I started with the march weekends. If we can't find something that works then we'll move to weekdays. Please select all dates that could work for you and try to be as flexible as possible!

I'll be sending out a draft poll as usual here in the next few days. Important that everyone completes it so we can maintain our perfect draft attendance!
-
I’m in for early March draft.

Should we set a date to draft now? Or wait until MLB agrees on the 2021 schedule?
-
At this rate we will have completely swapped teams by next offseason.

And the blockbuster trade of the offseason award goes to Hitless and Jeter! Love the activity.
-
Reminder to all teams that the penalty free cuts end 1/31. Anybody cut on your roster past that date will count as a penalty for half the amount just as if it were an in season cut.
-
No draft day determined. A poll will be sent out but we’ll aim for early-mid March.
-
Did we decide on 2/1 as the draft day?
-
Looking to Trade Trout and Ohtani prior to draft.
-
I am looking to offload some of the higher tier players on my roster to clear some salary. If you are interested in grabbing these guys prior to the draft send an offer. Luis Castillo is probably the only player I'd have a hard time parting ways with.

Roger that. I was responding to Walker’s 11/16 post.

Hitless, the $20 is just the site fee, nothing extra. Rules are OK other than the weekly Games Started Cap for the playoffs, I thought it was 9. ?? That is the GS/wk for most H2H leagues.
-
I am satisfied with the current 6 team playoff format; I am from a state that doesn't permit a money league so that complicates things a little (would be ok if finances were handled outside of the site, venmo or whatever); and I am also satisfied with the weekly GS situation for the playoffs.

And I will be sending out a poll for draft day, disregard the current time.
-
This sets a hard cap on the number of pitcher starts a team can have in a playoff matchup
With a cap, there are up to 5 SP slots available on the lineup page each day, less if a team has fewer than 5 starts left for the matchup
Without a cap, there are 2 SP slots available on the lineup page each day
For two-week playoff games only, the GS Cap will apply separately to each week.
-
I'm not sure I need to send out the rules poll again this year but I would like to take a temperature check to see if anybody would like a rule change. Main things are Playoff teams (currently 6, top two teams get a bye), money buy in (currently $20 with no prize money), and playoff GS cap (currently 7). See my next message for the literature on that rule. We can set it at 0,7,8,9,10.
-
That is correct, we are going back to playoffs this year.
-
We're reverting back to how the league was setup in 2019 as far as playoffs go, right?

Arbitration dollars have been spent! Thank you for all participating, its an important process in keeping our dynasty league competitively balanced.

Reminder to please submit your arbitration allocations! There are still 5-6 of you left I believe, thank you!
-
Looks like we have everyone coming back except for Votto, I have a buddy who is ready to take his spot so we should be all good to go!
-
Im in and I can speak for Wiffle Curves being in (my brother)
-
Great, thanks guys. Doesn't somebody know Wiffle Curves on a personal level here? If so, can you check in with them for next year? Much appreciated.
-
Count me in for next year too.
-
I am absolutely returning! All hail ottoneu!
Congrats to all on a successful shortened season.. despite the weirdness of the world today fantasy sports have kept it fun. Look forward to return to some normalcy next season!
-
Arbitration begins tomorrow. Reminder to All to please allocate all your dollars or NONE will count. I haven't gotten confirmation from all of you on returning but even if you're not, it would be appreciated if you allocated dollars before exiting. Thanks.
-
Thanks friends! I'm in again for next year as well.
-
Congrats, Modesto! Definitely count me in for next year.
-
Congrats to Modesto! I will definitely be back next year, but will someone please intervene to prevent me from drafting the whole Mets franchise??
-
Congrats to Modesto and a great year to everybody! I'll be back next year to fill my customary role of being in the upper half of the lower half of the standings.
-
Yes, looking forward to all the off-season work and (hopefully) a full season in 2021. I'll be back...
-
Congrats to Nuts! Thanks to all for another competitive and fun year. That being said, Ottoneau never sleeps and I think we're all excited to get our teams in shape for next year, allocate arb dollars to this years bargain players, and get ready for a FULL 2021 that will see us return to the playoff format. Please give notice on whether you plan on returning or leaving as I'll need time to find new owners if we have a vacancy. I have one lined up if we need him already! Thanks again!

"Modesto Nuts Crack the Wiffle Curves as the IPs run out." Congratz on the 2020 Tilte Modesto! Another strong top finish by the Wiffle Curves for the Silver as Jeters Never Prosper takes home the Bronze.

Great deadline folks!
-
Looking to acquire producing talent now! Willing to give away the future. Let me know if you think you can help.
-
Much like the Mets the Wright Stuff has had an underwhelming year, despite being the clear preseason favorite (According to Polar Bear Pete at least!) Unlike Brodie I'm willing to admit defeat! Wouldn't mind moving Yuli, Workman, or maybe even Max for the right price!
-
Just putting this out there, but I'm open for business before the trade deadline. Pretty much everything is on the table.
-
Wiffle was the clear cut favorite but I managed to come through with the upset in the finals.
-
Ahh I think you're right. I can see the points rankings from 2019 but forgot who won now. LOL. Wasn't it Wiffle Curves?
