One more note: We have the option of changing the trade approval time period from 48 hours to 24 hours. This is a league setting that cannot be changed once the auction is complete. I am in favor of the shorter waiting period. I propose we make the switch to 24 hours. Please vote in favor, or in opposition, here on the message board. Five votes in opposition defeats the setting change. We will leave the vote open for three days so everyone can chime in. I vote in favor of 24 hours.

Looking over the league Auction polls, we have some options. Option A: Lumber proposed this upcoming weekend. He is not available most weekends. Option B: is if Maxed Out can find a way to participate on one of 2/25, 2/27, 3/4 or 3/6. Option C: is if Balking Dead can find a way to participate on 2/26. Those are the three options that look feasible right now. Can you all weigh in on this upcoming weekend Friday, Feb. 8, Saturday, Feb. 9 and Sunday, Feb. 10 8pm (roughly) Eastern timezone?

I can do weekdays, no problem. I prefer a 7 CT since I have three kidddos under 8. It might mean a late night, but it works better. I don’t want to throw too many demands out there. I can make most things work, but thought I would start with the ideal.

Weekends are extremely bad for me this spring. I will do my best to accommodate the group, but may need to be in & out of the draft room if we go on a weekend. Fridays are an absolute no-go, Sat. & Sun. iffy. My apologies, but I would greatly prefer a weeknight. I could do the weekend of Feb. 8-10 if that would be a possibility, but I see the Doodle poll started with the weekend after that.

Update on price tier change: Niv is going to process refunds for everyone who already renewed at $50. Once he does that, I will be able to change the price tier to $100. I will let you know when the change is made. Then we can all renew at $100. Do not renew before I change the price tier to $100.

It looks like we are a go for a $100 league. We have nine votes in favor so far. I will take a look at the settings and make it happen. I assume after I make the change we will all need to make another payment for team renewal. We will see how that works.

As far as the roster freeze deadline goes...I am pretty sure it cannot be changed. We can, however, manually change rosters through the commissioner tools. That means that if we ad two owners near or after the roster freeze deadline we can play by house rules and allow for a dispersal draft, roster cuts and even make trades and then make all the changes manually. At least this is what I have been told. Hopefully reality matches with advice.

I am okay with the bump up to $100. I agree, that with the new payout prize percentages, the appeal of the $20 and $50 leagues has fallen. I don't know if you can arrange with Niv to push the keeper deadline back until we find two new owners and give them a week or so to make some moves if they want to? Just a thought.
