If this team doesn't start to turn it around by the end of the month, we're going to have to start talking firesales...
-
This just in! Foxes are still crazy, and are now looking for a big bat, hopefully in the hands of a MI or OF. Please see my trading block for details.

Zorilla returns!! Wow - 58 points in one day from a position player. Just glad I had him in the lineup!
-
Binomite, please pop Niv and e-mail if you'd like to check: http://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/contactus

Justin, Cuddyer just played his fifth game at 2B and I believe that makes him eligible. I'm not sure if it'll happen automatically, but could you verify that. Thanks.
-
Wasn't planning to get Reynolds, but with Stewart demoted and Rolen dealing with an injury that could balloon into catastrophe, I felt like I had to do it. Hopefully his HR/FB% returns to career average. Had him at $20 at draft, so $10 might be good deal

Celebrity Death Match! Rauch's tatoos would overpower Dee...or collapse from exhaustion trying to catch him.

That my team remains competitive after throwing Ubaldo, Liriano, Bumgarner and Lackey out there is a tribute to my manag...um, Troy Tulowitzki.
-
I would love to see Dee Gordon take on Jon Rauch, my team just got off to a hot start with Matt Kemp, rasmus, and Asdrubal Cabrera. I should slow down unless Felix and Kershaw pick it up a little

Morsels offense may make mine look like rat droppings, but my $1 players can beat up their $1 players.

Looks to me like good numbers across the board. Not a ton of power, but lots of OBP, good pitching #'s, and good save numbers. Not the best in any category, but best all-around so far.
-
All right..what is your secret Mr. Morsels? Has anyone figured out why they lead so much?
-
Clearly, you have angered the baseball gods. Sacrifice a goat, or maybe a shortstop (ballboys don't work).

Kuo makes 8 DL'd players now! And that's not including Pineiro, who I dropped! Fortunately, some guys are starting to make their way back.

Tits' Laser Show's trading block has been updated!
-
Well, I'm pretty much in freak out mode about Joe Mauer...
-
Hey guys, I recently made a new app for the iPhone/Android that follows prospects and recruits in baseball, basketball, and football. It is called FutureStar and shows scouting videos, highlights, and tracks prospect blogs.Check it out if you want. Thanks
-
Excellent. BTW, you can call me Tits. Everybody else does.
-
Correct Tit's Laser Show! Ortiz has 16 triples in 1,606 games but at least 1 triple in 12 consec years.
-
Ortiz has tripled at least once per season for 12 consecutive years?
-
Wild guess, but player hitting for cycle but then continuing on to second, so he "only" hit two doubles, a triple, and a home run (Sam Fuld)? That might be too rare for what you're describing.
-
trivia question time...what rare player event (1 in approx 100 games) but consistent (12 consec years) happened last night? name player and event.
-
I'd need a lot more than a week of Pujols struggling before I'd start to be concerned about him. He, Mauer, and Uggla haven't done crap yet. But they will.
-
DL? Justin, shouldn't you be more concerned that Pujols has collapsed under the pressure of a contract year?

I swear I must be setting a record for DL'd players. 6!
-
I played Vargas last night in my other lwts league. Thank goodness hits don't count!
-
really glad I went to the Mariners opening day last night...not
-
Damn...my OF was already thinner than an iPad2.
-
Holy crap about Manny! Condolences to Felix, I thought he was poised for a big year.
-
I agree, and I passed this onto Niv just now. He did add points totals on the lineup pages this week, which was badly needed and a nice addition.
-
it would be nice if the standings had total hitting and total pitching points categories. That way it would be easier to look at what part of our teams are doing better.
-
Rat Morsels's trading block has been updated!
-
I live in the Seattle area. Going to opening night and next wednesday
-
and he won't be leading the league for long maybee. :) i'm comin rat!
-
damn, visiting seattle this upcoming weekend
-
I don't remember if any of you are still in the Seattle area, but if you are and you're interested, I've got an extra ticket to Michael Pineda's home debut on Monday night.
-
good job rat morsels..i initially guessed chipper or even pujols..but you are right...winning the league and trivia contest
-
ichiro, young, jeter, and i think helton
-
Trivia question time - Name the 4 active players who are their teams career hits leader? without looking at baseballreference.com
-
Not really surprising given his defensive track record, but Jack Wilson's double play yesterday was AMAZING.
-
Biggest suprise is that Figgins and Andrus have both homered for me so far.
-
While the sample sizes are too small to mean anything, I think I'd put the O's start as the biggest surprise. Even as a Red Sox fan, it'd be nice to see them experience a little success.
-
biggest surprise so far? 1. Orioles 4-0 start, 2. Boston SP woes 3. Longoria /Holliday Injuries Vote?
-
thats humor. :)
