  • I know it's frustrating. Especially if you had a player at a price you were happy with. I had Springs won before the crash and now I don't. It's affecting everyone. I expect we are all going to be bidding differently, just like if we ran the auction ten times we would get ten different results.

  • Hmm… I understand this situation is not Sandfrog’s fault, however he does seem to really be taking advantage of it. We had Conforto won for $1 before the shut down and now he has (at least) a $5 max bid on Conforto while these complaints are coming in. Just not a great look for the commish to be changing the prices he’s going for on players. Not a fan of that…

  • Don’t think I’d call the situation unethical. It’s just all-round unfortunate but such is life. And memory is a tricky thing even a few days out. I think any solution is going to be flawed but you make do.

    In the end, it’s just a $50 fantasy league.

    Thanks to the commissioners for working to get matters resolved and working to get the auction started back up.

  • In any case, we're about hour from the first round of new auctions closing. Try to stay on top of your nominations. My goal is to get us done by the 18th, so we're legal for the early Japan games.

  • I appreciate the conversation and hearing everyone's thoughts. I do think it was a situation of take the least-bad-option. I am sorry if some feel unfairly treated in the process. My goal was to get things restarted as quickly as possible in a way that managers thought was reasonable. I felt we had a pretty good consensus at the time.
