• Yes, $400 is your salary cap for the year. Free agents are acquired through a 48 hour auction and releasing players during the season can result in a cap penalty. Having some cap room could be helpful but depends on your draft strategy.

• Quick question: Should we have leftover money after draft for FA? In other words, is our draft budget our budget for the year? Rules didn't make it clear, although I assumed budget also = draft budget (just have to make sure).

• Excited for tonight, folks. A couple of thoughts heading in... 1) Let's all try to get into the draft room 15-20 minutes early (or as early as possible). This let's us all familiarize ourselves with the auction room, get comfortable, and survey any technical annoyances we face. 2) For those who have not done an auction before, most people recommend manually bidding, rather than the "+$1" bid button, so you don't get stuck "+$1-ing" a bid that was not what you expected.

• Just joined - really looking forward to it. First time in an Ottoneu league but I have been looking for something more in depth for awhile. I am all for dividing the draft into 2 night, however, I am traveling the week before the draft and will be on a plane on 3/23. Any way we can do 3/24 and a later date? (Sorry to be high maintenance right off the bat).

• I've heard these drafts can be brutally long (6-7 hours), so I'd be fine splitting it up over two days. I can draft any night that week (the 20th-24th) as long as it starts no earlier than 6PM mountain time. Those aren't the only times I'm available, but just to get an idea.

• Personally one long session on Friday the 24th works best for me. If we do split it, I wouldn't be able to do the second half until Sunday April 2nd (which is also Opening Day).
