Hey all, good year! I don't want to prematurely close this off, as there is still a little baseball to be played, with the last two teams battling for the final podium spot maneuvering to take advantage of the final doubleheader. Congrats to Harmless and (likely) Craictastic for finishing in the money with me. I imagine Niv will be getting prizes out pretty quickly this year. I'll see everybody back here for the start of arbitration on Oct 15. Enjoy playoff baseball!

In the spirit of competitiveness, I’m gonna tell you about the new owner. He won 5 Otto Championships in a row in another league we were in. He knows how to win. He can also talk a starving monkey off a banana boat. Sell a used car to a blind man. He convinced a guy who had 120 or so Otto teams to give one up for him.
Now he can’t sneak up on ya! 😂

In case anyone wonders, I traded Edman for nothing to the other team that bid on him because I no longer needed him after getting Busch. I preferred the roster spot/salary instead.

Looking forward to seeing everybody on Saturday (or Sunday morning for some of you) for the draft. Be sure to test out the draft software prior to then to make sure everything is working. Excited to get the season underway.
Also, if your team finished in the top six last year, I'd encourage you to consider jumping into the Ottoneu Prestige League. The best-ball format is super fun and it makes the season even more interesting. Spots fill up quickly, so jump in if you're interested.

As the trade window winds down, also want to remind everybody to make their final cuts by tomorrow night by 11:59pm EST. Any players left on your roster will be kept. Also, you'll notice you only have one round of cuts - please make all of your cuts at one time from the cut players screen so I don't have to reset the penalty-free cuts option.
