I'd certainly be happy to go ahead with it, but whatever happens, let's make sure to broadcast it here
-
So what's the verdict? We going forward with this league?
-
Count me out.
-
Hey all, I'll be taking over "Hit It Here." Looking forward to a great up coming season!
-
I will not be returning to this league.
-
And don't forget the end-of-January keeper deadline!
-
I've set a draft date and time of Saturday, March 17th at 9 a.m. (est). Please let me know ASAP if this time is no good for you.
-
The Unfortunate Cubs Fan's trading block has been updated!
-
awesome.
-
If teams re-up it will though it doesn't look like we will get a full re-up since only 7 teams placed Arb votes.
-
is this league operational next year?
-
this is going to be interesting...
-
maybe i should stop my whinning, now that the prices have been increased and i see other rosters. wildcats
-
And while they do have a lot of money, I don't think the FA pool is going to be outrageously talented.
-
In regards to the comment, I didn't think it was offensive, but rather overstated, in that a couple of those rosters are pretty ugly..

As for your last statement, you should be thanking these guys for taking on dead teams post-draft. Your opinion is based on conjecture, and I'd ask you to consider the effect on league cohesiveness prior to future statements similar to this.
-
I do not see where ottoneu has specified a keeper deadline as of yet. Will find out ASAP. The inflation rule hasn't changed since we drafted. It's a big part of the game and something to consider as you draft.
-
the 3 new members as winners next year, as they have the $ to buy all the free agents. wildcats
-
I have several questions. When is the end of the "keeper deadline"? If salaries are going to increase by $1-2.00, we are going to have to come up with about $70.00. Most of us do not have that kind of spare $.When is the auction? We might as well appoint
-
Yea, and everyone was up in arms about that one
-
That Hanley trade would disagree.
-
I'm not too sure if I know what I'm doing...
-
The fact that we all know what we're doing makes luck matter a lot more than most fantasy baseball leagues.
-
I wonder if this is the smallest difference between #1 and #2 for any ottoneu league. Really, the only thing separating the top 3rd or so are a few lucky breaks with injuries.
-
Niv is updating price inflation next week and suggests holding off arb. voting until then.
-
Congrats TtP and SP. Way to finish strong. Big thanks again to the three guys who picked up teams after the start of the season.
-
I'm looking forward to what the offseason holds
-
Thanks to the Commish for getting things started.
-
Congrats to TtP on his victory and new job. We battled on the same players at auction and to the end of the season and I was beat both times.
-
Just doing my best to give TtP a run. No point leaving $ on the table when I needed IP. Doubt that it'll work but worth a shot.
-
Totally makes sense. I didn't think you guys were doing anything wrong, but I was puzzled. Didn't stop to think it was just an innings rush. My bad
-
Anyways, to actually answer your question, we're both far off the innings limit on the final day, so any warm body putting up 6 IP is really valuable.
-
Slurvy has done a pretty impressive job building his team in the second half to actually make it possible to challenge me for the final day.
-
didn't put the time in to rotate my SPs, so I ended up off the pace in innings pitched.
-
I started a new job a few months ago and
-
Did I miss something? Why were a bunch of scrubs picked up for $9 each, with Trust bidding $8 and Slurvy bidding $10? What's going on here
-
Trade Deadline is today....
-
The Walking Men's trading block has been updated!
-
If you asked me, Bauer at $10 is fine. He's hardly a steal, but he's got the potential to outperform his cost in a couple of years. If not, cut him and move on. Makes sense to me.
-
Lamb and Montgomery's talent at the beginning of the season certainly could have rivaled Bauer's...such is the pitcher quandary
-
I also lost John Lamb and Mike Montgomery (who would've had a salary of $10 combined next year), so spreading the risk among multiple, slightly less talented pitching prospects didn't really pay off.
-
I really like his upside, and think he could blow through the minors. Maybe he'll have a setback, but I had almost $60 tied up in JJ, Anderson, and Fowler, and still fielded a competitive team, so I don't think the downside is that damaging.
-
Anyone interested in Crawford? I'll pay for all of his salary for the rest of the season, obviously
-
Bauer for $10? bit much?
-
Are some of the team managers stand up comics.? You would think so with the trades proposed
-
wildcats's trading block has been updated!
-
Willing to trade some of my payroll to teams in need of some...
-
Thanks, and happy fourth of July to all the Americans.
