First Paxton and now Severino. This season was fun while it lasted!

Apologies. I honestly thought I’d cut him at the deadline. I guess that’s one drawback to waiting until the final day to make all your cuts: if you’re not careful you can miss someone. If you guys decide you don’t want to let it slide, I’ll understand
-
Dear Friends: Straw Merrifields Forever, the team formerly known as Yoanly Live Once, asked if he could make an additional drop of Jaimesson Talons. I don't think there's any problem giving a mulligan here, so I'll take the guy off his team. Cheers.
-
Hey folks! Looks like everyone is on top of things, but a last reminder that all penalty-free cuts must be made by 11:59pm Eastern time. Trades also need to be accepted by then. Starting midnight Feb 1, no trades are allowed until after the draft.
And if anyone is looking to make a last-minute deal, I'm still in the market for OF. ;) Have some depth at RP, few guys I like but might not be able to keep at their prices who I will let go for smaller pieces. LMK
-
Open to moving JD Martinez for 2-3 cheaper keepers ready to contribute in 2020.
-
All right, wheeler-dealers-- don't forget to 1) re-up your team for 2020 and 2) pick your keepers and cut the rest. Deadline for both these things is Jan 31, midnight east coast time. You probably don't need me to tell you this. buena suerte
-
Yee gads-- Hinch, Luhnow - and especially Cora. Why even do it? I find it hard to believe that it would even be worth the energy. All of these guys, super smart, now disgraced. Why wouldn't you just play the game? Well, The Papi and have been clear since before Day 1, you can't steal signs in the timmy, by any means.
-
Dear Friends, I've tentatively set our 2020 draft for Saturday morning March 7 at 7:30PM east coast time. 4:30PM west coast. I believe that'd be 11:30AM Sydney time, but not positive. The world clock page shows that Australia has daylight savings time, not sure that'd still be in effect on March 7. (which just happens to be the last day before the U.S. switches to daylight saving time).

Welcome aboard, Chap! You’ll do well to trust nary a soul in this league. Ruthless savages, the lot of us...
-
Glad you could join us, Chap. Good luck.
-
Welcome Chap! Excited to have you.
-
Hi all, my name is Chap and I just claimed Post Sleep Hypers (which is an 80 grade name). I play in a bunch of leagues, arguably too many, but I am active in all and love to trade. Excited to be here.
-
thank you all for your thoughts and prayers as we whistle past the graveyard
-
Sorry for your loss Dave. I know how you feel. I once had to uncheck Jose Fernandez from my keeper list. You kids stay away from speedboats and speedballs.

Ok, guys. I have made the switcheroo. My old squad, Post-Sleep Hypers, is now out in the Ottoneu universe as an abandoned team, and I have taken over the former Sweet n Lowe and renamed it "Oppo". My first act as new owner will be to remove any players from my roster who are no longer alive.

Looking to move Sale!

all righty then. all salaries have been updated. cheers
-
will have to plug in later. and confirm that all comes to $25. more anon , dc
-
I just decided to do the rest myself: here are mine: Yaz Cats- Eugenio $1, Ketel $1, Bieb $1. Ducklings:: Yelich $2, Bellinger $1. Papi: rendon $1, olson $1, cole $1. Otto: Judge $2. Groove: Stras $1. Renamed: Chapman $1
-
Thanks to Renamed. Here are his arbs: $3 to Yordan Alvarez (Public d’Arnaud); $3 to Juan Soto (Post-Sleep Hypers); $1 to Tommy Pham (We All Have Pujols); $3 to Pete Alonso (Hader's Gonna Hate); $2 to Ronald Acuna (Yoanly Live Juans).
-
hm. well, i definitely give my allocations to the ones i want to see dropped! tell you what though, i'll give you $12 to allocate to the teams from 4th place to 8th place inclusive. that could be 3,3,2,2,2 respectively, but do as you wish. I'll give $13 to someone else, to do teams from 1st to 3rd place and then from 9th to 11th place. You'll have to send me your arbs so I can plug em in. you have been deputized, sir.
-
Sure, I can help with that. My general approach for arbitration is to "follow the herd" in terms of allocating to players who already been targetted, unless it seems to me like doing so would render the player unkeepable. I typically allocate $3 each to 7 teams and $1 each to 4 teams, usually in reverse order of standings unless there's a guy among the bottom 4 teams who has a lot of surplus value or a top 7 team doesn't have an obvious target.

Curious if anyone would mind if i dropped my current team, The Sleepers, and took on Sweet n Lowe. I'd rather get a new owner now, than wait. And I'm pretty sure it'd be way easier to get an owner for the Sleepers. What do you reckon?
-
dude, you're only in the early stages of a formidable dynasty.
-
Damn. Now who am I going to finish in front of?

Sweet n Lowe is now officially abandoned.
-
Ah, sadly, Sweet n Lowe has given up the ghost. I just saw email he sent this evening. Dang it. If you know anyone that wants a fixer-upper . . . . . .
-
Sweet n Lowe - tsk tsk me boy, ye have not completed the arbs. Well, you have entered your grace period, and I hope you will do them within the couple days. You’ll have to send them to me and I’ll enter them manually.
-
Vafa took care of his & thank thee for that. Thanks to all who done their duty. Arbitration is fun!
-
Hey everyone! Hope your off-season is going well so far. Just a reminder that allocations are due by November 14. Please make sure you've completed yours by then. Looks like we have 3 teams who still need to do so. Thanks!
-
Also do note: it is Timmy league policy that the league itself will do allocations for any team who does not do their own. Either I myself or some other person will take care of that. Anyway - you'll do your own, so, not an issue.
-
Ok, Fellas - - we are already now in the allocation period. So do please take care of all your salary increases by November 14th. Information on the process is here: https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/rules Good luck.
-
Thanks for the run, looking forward to trades, etc. and next year!

Keep in touch, guys. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the post-season as much as I will.
-
The Ducklings were very strong once again and The Papi finally managed to sneak into the winners’ circle for once in his life. Always sad when the season ends. Thanks to all for competing in the Timmy league.
-
Congratulations to the great Yaz Cats for making mince-meat of us all once again. One of the more convincing championships you’ll see, I think. 21 thousand points? That’s kind of a lot.
-
An amazing performance by Fiers- two of the homers were by your own guy though, so not quite as bad there. It’s been a horrendous year for pitchers.
-
M.F. 1.0 ip, -75 pts lmao

Actually, just the other day I had a RP (Stammen) yield a -55.27 outing in this league. 5 hits allowed, 4 were HR. Unbelievable.
-
Eickhoff -54.30. Anybody seen a worse daily score for an individual player?
