OK, so you don't think Verlander has too many years left. That's defensible. But, I still think he's a top 10 guy this year, at the very least. So how about adding the best pitching prospect in baseball for $4 so that you have something for the future? He should be up sometime in May so he'll contribute this year as well and Steamer/Depth Charts project him to do very well as a rookie.
