I can undo my arb too, if thats the decision. But, I vote to keep arb.

Happy to un-do my arb if that's the direction we go in. For the record, I vote for no arbitration

Are we voting on arb or not? People have already started to do this without a vote
-
We should keep arb just based on the fact that decisions were made based on the assumption arb would happen.

We can discuss here and then I will conduct a vote, if that’s the desired path. My own opinion (speaking as owner, not Commissioner) is that (a) I don’t see why the shortened season should be relevant, and (b) it may not be fair to change now, given that owners may have been making in-season roster decisions assuming that we’d have arb.
-
I prefer no arb but ok either way
-
I agree with Vermont
-
My initial thought is that while only getting 60 games (or less) out of a player before another round of arbitration is a little frustrating, arbitration is too important to ongoing league health to skip. But I'm open to league input as well.

Given how short the season was I think we should have a vote to see if we should do arbitration this year. I’m fine either way but I think we should vote on it. Thoughts?

Howdy all, I have an open team in another 5x5 league that I am in. It is $100 league, with a 10 man MiLB roster managed on Google Sheets. Team is Zino and Zach

Good luck on the final day - what a finish we've got! Thanks all for a great season...we made the best of this, and it's been a lot of fun (even as my team has completely folded like a cheap suit).
-
Block updated. Still a few hours to go and I’m looking to improve my squad.
-
I've got lots of saves if anyone wants some. Looking for an SP that is keepable next year.
-
What Cosby said 👍
-
Block updated, not sure what direction to go in but open to all offers
-
Don't let Indios run away with it! Players available for cheap keepers next year.

One the guys in my other league shared this link to Justin Vibber’s power rankings as we were one of the top 10 leagues.. and looks like this league is ranked even better at #4 overall - https://pointsabove.com/2020/08/07/ottoneu-power-rankings-july-2020/
-
Looks like things are going to get interesting quickly
-
I’m here. Sorry. On a road trip out west. Will be settled in this weekend and gearing up for the season!
-
Anyone heard from the Commish? Hasn't been on in a couple months
-
Looks like we may get a season after all 🤞 let’s go!
-
Heard that podcast today. Also on the ottoneu slack Niv is starting some simulation leagues using ootp 21. Desperate times...
-
Maybe we can do this is a league to pass the time?
-
Hey everyone,
As I now have an abundance of time I was listening to a podcast and they had a game called Project GOAT the premise is you pick a 23 man (2 catchers, 5 OF, CI,MI,UT +9 SP) from 1980-now.
Rules are you can only use a player once regardless of the position
No more than one player per franchise
No more than one season per year
No more than 6 season per decade decades defined as 80-89 90-99 00-09 10-19
If you have any interest message me.
-
Hey all. I'm looking to move some of my OF depth for a SP.

happened in my other league too. if guys got claimed on last couple days of year it would have processed after cutoff date. Official response: From Niv: If your league had some waiver claims processed from the end of the 2019 season, please feel free to use commissioner tools to undo them. I’ll make sure to cancel all active waiver claims at the end of each season in the future.
-
I don’t know what those waiver claims are about - I never did anything like that for my team. And they’re not permitted now anyway. I will forcibly drop those players.
-
I thought no transactions until draft day?
-
Last chance to get Diaz or osuna or a young starter.
-
I'm not going to be able to keep Chris Sale, but it seems like he might be the only high-end SP available at auction, so if anybody wants to just lock in an ace now instead of risking losing out on him in a bidding war at auction and being left without an ace type guy at all, I'll move him somewhat cheaply for a guy I would keep (or as an add-on as part of a larger deal).

One more try: I’m looking to package prospects for a big bat. Message me if you’d like to explore a deal. Thanks.
-

Please renew for 2020! Don’t wait until the last minute. Thanks.

Draft date set: Sunday, March 15, 2020, at 8:00 PM ET.
And one month to go before our trade deadline!

I’m fine with draft date for now at least

I could do that time as well and would prefer we start no later than 8 EST
-
Same as the previous responses. 3/15 works, 8:00 pm EST or later would be best.
-
It works for me right now as long as it’s after 8pm est as well.

All - it’s time to set our draft date and time. I propose we draft during the evening of Sunday, March 15. That gives us enough time before Opening Day in March 26, but not too much time. Please check your schedules and let me know if the evening of 3/15 will work for you. Thanks!
