• Thanks to all for the dialogue. As MWS indicated, we had a good amount of back and forth all week. It’s my 2nd year in the league, and I can recall from last year at least an instance or two of rentals being shipped off that weren’t necessarily advertised. I will always endorse more league activity as a benefit for the league. Given that any rental trade can only have so much impact, I do not believe we have any long term competitive balance issues. My 2 cents.

• I think the trade is fine value wise, will not be vetoing. I do agree with bubbly though that if elite players + big loans are on the table, trade block is ideally the first step.

• It was not my intention to throw off competitive balance or violate any league standards…multiple counteroffers have occurred over the last week and the trade was agreed upon after I felt fair value presented itself. Not trying to do a “sell off”.

• I understand that part of the skill of Fantasy Baseball is the bold negotiations tactics; however, as a member of this league since 2016 -- these type of trades upset the year-to-year balance that keeps players coming back and remaining competitive. If these continue, then likelihood or trying for a multi-year strategy to reveal itself is so much less likely because people leaving the league.

• Thought I would explain my Veto vote on the G. Cole trade. My stance is that the value going back and forth is not up for debate, but Vetos exist if the balance of the league is disrupted, or 'certain unnamed standards' are not in place. I would be happy to 'Vote For' this trade in the future if G. Cole and J. Soto (or someone of their caliber) were placed on the Trade Block beforehand or a message from the team declaring a 'Sell Off' were under way...

• FYI, if you rearrange the order on the cut page and select some cuts and then go off the cut page, when you come back to the cut page the players have returned to the default order but the selected cut buttons are still in the same relative positions and not associated with the players you meant to cut. I've been burned by this.

• Your roster is locked until after the draft - no cuts or any movement. This is the drawback to waiting until the last minute to have a draft. You get to see you wins position battles or what FAs gets injured during spring training, but you are stuck with players you do have until the draft is done.
