Newcomer will even have something of an advantage when making cuts because all of ours are already done. As long as they take over well before the draft should be fine, no rush.
-
Sent out some messages to some potential options. Iβll go as fast as possible, but we can always have them cut later.
-
No interest from guys in my other fantasy league to take over. Otto is too involved for their simple minds
-
Looks like we are probably gonna need to get a new owner in and let them make some post-deadline cuts with commissioner's help.
-
Just sent him an email reminder.
-
Looks like greg (gjsor) hasn't logged in since November. Anyone have a way to reach out to him and tell him to make his cuts before tomorrow night?
-
I didn't realize it was Feb 1 already

sveet has 17 empty spots but only $12 to fill he needs to cut more salary to get to $1 per empty slot correct?
-
correct
-
So everyone not cut is 'kept' right? I don't see a keepers link/page anywhere
-
Will paydala give my phone aides
-
Can a financial expert explain this to me: Inactivity Fee (charged monthly after six months of no customer-initiated financial transactions): $2.95
-
Thanks for the reminder, just took care of it. For everyone who hasn't done it yet: Beware that apparently the payment processor changed and I had to enter more information than previously with Paypal.
-
Reminder: we are ten days away from the end of the month which means if you haven't renewed, please do so soon!

I like Caballero in the field and on the bases, but not sure he's going to do much with righties other than work a walk once in a while, which is kind of what you get from Walls. I wouldn't assume he's good to go right away, hip injuries can be rough and can lead to issues elsewhere later on. The position is just so demanding and the turf so tough I don't see Walls ever being more than a bench glove.
-
Well nevermind, maybe Caballero is the stopgap
-
It wouldnβt take very long for teams to figure out they could just not throw him fastballs. However, he really doesnβt chase all that much so maybe heβll have an epiphany with his pitch recognition someday? A nice stopgap vet to hold it down until Carson Williams is ready to take over full time in 2025 wouldnβt be terrible but idk how much it matters bc Walls should be fine for OD, maybe just a couple of weeks behind at most
-
Thanks for the nuggs. Sounds like he's gonna get eaten alive by big league secondaries. TBF, sometimes Taylor Walls looks pretty good & other times he misses routine stuff. I would love to see the team sign Tim Anderson to a pillow deal. He's a polarizing player & not a great option at SS even before the knee issue early last year, but 23 was only year he didn't hit at all. If he's healed & limber I'd bet on the bat bouncing back at least. Slide to 2B to facilitate in gam
-
FWIW, Jones would've made his ML debut last year if he was healthy. Gray got the cup of coffee instead
-
He might be the best worst player I've ever seen. Looks like Walls in the field and then other times looks like Brad Miller. Ran a 98th percentile wOBAcon w a 60.8% GB% (2nd highest in AAA min 150 PA) somehow? Bottom 10 in z-contact% overall at roughly 71%, but nearly 85% z-contact% on anything 95mph+. Selling out for velo like that in AAA is odd, but he might have been one of the best velo hitters in MiLB. Insane tools and built like Christian McCaffrey, very inconsistent. Fun lottery ticket
-
That would be more embarrassing than Boston playing Dalbec at SS, at least on the offensive side. He only ran a 34%K in AAA, Jones at 39%.
-
Tired: Basabe OD SS
Wired: Give Greg Jones the keys to the car right out of ST and let him cook
-
Carson Williams get your ass in the microwave buddy
-
The discourse is definitely his best baseball ahead of him will be in a Dominican prison yard. Mostly about how or if the Rays can void his contract or if the MLBPA will force them to have 25% of their payroll to a convict who is barred from the USA
-
How bad is the discourse around Wander on social media? Is everyone a legal expert and they know every detail? Or are they letting the process happen? Or somewhere in between?
-
I believe wander never lost the faith unlike okayboomer
-
My process on acquiring restricted Wander for a fat, overpaid 1B I wasn't using in my lineup: a) he gets exonerated and I have a SS; or b) more bad news comes out and I flip him to one of the many truthers in this league. Would have preferred (a), but whatever.
-
Have you ever rostered players that spent time in a Dominican Work Camp?
-
I've never rostered players on the Yankees or any Boston teams in any fantasy game. I have rostered Knicks/Nets in fantasy hoops because those franchises are too pathetic to loathe.
-
I legitimately love your dedication to hating the Yanks
-
If Soto gets traded to the Stanks he's on the block
-
Thanks everyone for getting it done! Sorry if I reached out to you about it lol. Just wanted to be sure it did. Excited for this upcoming season.
-
This off-season has gone too smoothly so far.

Yeah, no need to apologize. Life matters more, and also it is indeed nice that it all got done with days to spare. I think we just wanted to be sure we had time to make managerial changes if needed. It's nice that it looks like they're not needed. Happy offseason!

lets get a five clap going for getting arb done early
-
No problem, there' still a whole week. Just making sure everyone is back in and doesn't totally forget arb. Hope all is well pretzels.
-
Apologies everyone. Iβve had some life stuff going on and totally spaced arb but Iβm back now. Iβll have that done tomorrow. Sorry to keep folks waiting
-
Will do today after work. Thanks ππ»
-
12 days left to do arb, and two teams that haven't started yet. One is a co-commish. Henry, can you check in on them and make sure they don't miss it?
-
Yes. Conveniently
-
Was it FAF and PM that always screwed up arb?

We'll find out over the next month when/if everyone does arb
-
Everyone return next season?
-
Congratulations to TTBNL and for everybody for keeping it fun and competitive this year!
-
Congrats to our winner, and thanks for having me join in this season! Iβll definitely be back for next year because everyone seems fine with it
-
Congrats Bud. 2nd highest point total ever. You earned it

i salute our new champion the true champion of the people
-
Congrats to TTBNL on his or her first title. Welcome to the club, champ!
-
I see no one acknowledging my furious surge for 4th place...anyways, great season following a controversy-marred one. Thanks to the commishes who presumably had to do nothing because no one was sus this year. Let's run it back? See y'all at arb.
