And I thought I liked Detmers
-
Merry Eloymas, y'all
-
Both guys are replaceable from FA signings. Just look at Wacha and McHugh. A guy like Cruz takes real money to sign. Keep ceiling guys, trade the floor guys.

I wonder how long it will take for fans to realize that players described with unnatural life on their four-seamer, like Joe Ryan, were goop guys? I guess we're not there yet. Maybe they'll figure it out around the same time they put together why the Rays pitchers have struggled so much the last six weeks. Probably not, though. Snyder's secret sauce is being revealed in real time.

free joe ryan
-
Rays overpaid, usually rental position players don't go for that much (see JD Martinez trade in 2017). However, Rays face a 40-man roster crunch every offseason. Between: McKay, Baz, Patino, Honeywell, Romero, Fleming, Wilcox, Rasmussen, McClanahan, Chirinos & Beeks, how likely is it Ryan or Strotman made the team as starters next year? Consolidated depth for an upgrade
-
I guess it's kinda cool, but seems like Rays gave up a lot for less than a half season of 41 y/o Nelly Cruz
-
13 players on IL, my team is fading fast
-
5 more Ohtani OF appearances until he's eligible there....hnnnnnngn
-
No, absolutely not. Dropping Kikuchi and picking up Thor was a move purely based on future (next season).
-
You think he'll outproduce Kikuchi the rest of the year? I don't ๐ฌ
-
Hopefully Syndergaard can return healthy and stay that way. Pretty surprised he wasnโt valued more though to be honest. $9 to take a flyer on him, Iโll take that. Iโm scared to say how much I actually bid ๐
-
Him and every other pitcher
-
Still time for him to blow his arm out.

Idk how many I have, I would have had 1 more with Ohtani if I didnโt release himโฆ That one is going to sting for awhileโฆ
Knew he had this kind of potential, thatโs why I valued him more so than others in trade proposals before I released him. Wish I would have trusted my gut instinct.
-
gym rats dont need recognition, they quietly get their work done first one in, last one out, lunch pail type guys
-
Think I got about 10 All-Stars currently. C: Salvador Perez, 1B: Max Muncy, 2B: Jose Altuve, SS: Carlos Correa, OF: Jesse Winker, OF: Kyle Schwarber, DH: Nelson Cruz, SP: German Marquez, RP: Josh Hader & RP Matt Barnes
NL starting pitchers is crazy deep, not surprised the only rep I got was Marquez out of there
-
How many allstars y'all got? I count 12 on my roster
-
Itโs funny bc people said I got ripped off in the Marco Gonzales trade, but heโs one of the worst pitchers in baseball. I donโt get it.
-
Perfect summation of my season so far: 3 SPs going, 15 IP, and a grand total of +5 points thanks to a whopping 6 HRs given up and a -31 from Marco Gonzales. Whereโs this dead ball Iโve been hearing so much about?!
-
Upton may be returning today so, kinda just rolling with the punches with all the outfield injuries. Really just want Franco to continue to adjust to major league pitching
-
Who will win Joe Fartlow? The suspense is killing me with all these competitive bullpen auctions lately.
-
And there goes Schwarber, the trifecta is complete
-
Figured they'd get hurt PM, that's their M.O. Pleased with how deep this made my pitching for the stretch run, pleasure doing business
-
Good thing the guys you traded were already all hurt.

You were right not to believe in Byron Buxton & Justin Upton's health, FAF. Buxton out until August with a fractured hand now & Upton's got a lower back strain, ugh
-
Took a 6 game losing streak but, it's Wander time!!!
-
I vote yes on proposition 69
-
Seems pretty fair to me, some players producing now for PM and FAF buying low on Fried and Sano who were both very good recently. And some lottery ticket arms who will be back later this season.
-
Sure thing. OF is the easiest position to fill. Btwn Alvarez, Judge, Stanton, Yastrzemski, & Tapia all being productive OFs &/or Stewart, Urias, Cron, or Sano filling in at UTIL, the offensive decline is negligible. Also, not a believer in Upton or Buxton staying healthy after the last 3-4 years. So, why not move them for pitchers I like? Not everything happens in a vacuum
-
Help me understand this one. 3 extremely productive and affordable outfielders for 3 guys on the IL, an underperforming arm, and an overpriced and underperforming Sano.

I got lots of pitching Pretzels! No one seems to believe in German Marquez but, he's hanging in there. Plus, I'm always willing to move Chris Sale or Luis Severino, who both look to return in July ๐
-
Trading for Correa & picking up Yandy Diaz, has really solidified my infield, as my pitching continues to be elite. Now if only I could figure out the outfield....
-
To be fair noone expected wily Peralta to make the rotation much less be amazing. I had him pegged as a solid depth RP
-
lame, well at least you're picking up in this league
-
Nope, I got knocked out in the first round. That's why the pokeball next to my team name is gray. Basically, they knockout 70 teams every month until the All-Star Break, using best ball format. From there it becomes elimination every couple of weeks until you get to the winner ๐
-
If anybody could find a way to be in 13th place, itโs this guy right here. With my league worst P/G, that I also make up for with having 1/4 on the IL and a league worst P/IP. Life in hell is grand!
-
PM did you advance to the next round of the premier league? IDK how it works.
-
I'm overhauling a team that won the second to last legitimate full-season title and it looks like I'm ahead of pace in the rebuild. What's the point of a dynasty league if teams are unable to rebuild?
-
Your superior critical thinking and analysis has captained your team to 13th place
-
I can see why you were voted out as commish if you think Trout was free. $90 Trout = 296 points, $4 Freddy Peralta has outscored him on his own at 358, while Victor Gonz and Jeimer have combined for over 400 points at $10 total. I said at the time that I didn't expect most of the folks in the room to get it, but the results have been as obvious as they were predictable to a person capable of critically thinking about a problem.
-
Sorry your free trout broke
-
got $169 worth of bats on the DL, anyone want one of them
-
Think High Motor is referring to Luke Voit, though it looks like Conforto is out until at least late June now with Mike Trout. But, Zach McKinstry ought to be back this weekend & Hunter Dozier early next week! So, some guys off IL for you!
-
YOU FCKING SOFT ASS PLAYERS, STRETCH YOUR GODDAMN OBLIQUES
-
Now even the guys we're nominating are getting injured before their auctions are over
-
At least the Plesac injury was just an accident. Corey Kluber is now joining: Luzardo, Sale, Anderson, Severino, Walker, Hudson, Duffy & Patino on IL for me. Knew the condensed schedule would kill arms this year, just gotta keep plugging away, Alek Manoah up tomorrow
-
Itโs almost as bad as the Joel Zumaya Guitar Hero injury
-
Lol the injuries this season...Plesac to IL for aggressively taking off his shirt and having it snag on the chair. That might beat Blake dropping his bong on his toe 2 years ago.
-
He could use more time adjusting his approach against more advanced pitching.
