• In one league last year, I was in first place the entire year until September. I hit the pitching limit with three weeks left in our season. I ended up in 5th place because of it. So be careful!

• RWSC is correct, you are not required to start 2 catchers. Even though you do accumulate stats from both players if you choose to start 2, both starts counts against the total number of games you can start at the catcher position. Having 2 slots is designed to help you get to that 162 games played mark since most of not all catchers will not play more than 120-130 games, unless you're Sal Perez of course.....

• That is right. You do not have to start two catchers. It is very easy to go over your allotted starts for certain positions, especially pitcher innings.

• You can always try to trade people. Guys like Lester or Lawrie will be wanted by someone. If you drop someone you run the risk of them not being picked up, which is only a loss for you as you lose half the cap.

• yes you only get 50% salary (rounded up to the nearest $) when you cut someone, but if another team picks that player up in auction, then the players completely comes off your roster.
