Thanks all for trying to accommodate on short notice. I want to be at the auction but I'd rather have a proxy then hold up the league, especially as the new guy. If someone can facilitate that process and let me know what I need to do, I'd greatly appreciate it.

We were not able to get a consensus on an auction date, but it looks like almost everyone will be available this coming Sunday evening (3/12). Is there anyone who can definitively NOT make it on that date?

Unfortunately it looks like one player is going to drop, but we are close enough to full that we should look to nail down an auction date now. I've created a poll, let's try to find a date that works on the week of the 12th. Whichever day we pick, auction will start at 8:30 PM Eastern Time, unless there is someone that time doesn't work for (speak up now). Otherwise please fill in your availability for the auction ASAP. Welcome! Ottoneu is a very challenging format, but it's my favorite by far. If I may give one small bit of advice... Give yourself some time to learn the format. I didn't understand all of the phases until after I had done them once.
The best thing about Ottoneu, to me, is that competing and rebuilding are both really fun. It's possible to go from last to first (or vice versa) from year to year. That sets it apart from other keeper/dynasty leagues, in my experience.

Welcome back! We are moving closer towards having a full league. At this point we are 4 players short - we can most likely find proxy drafters for 2 players, so realistically I think we need 2 more players for the league to be able to continue for this season. We still have a few weeks left, so I'm optimistic it will happen. Once we reach 10 players, we can nail down an auction date for late March
