• The owner of Load Management has reached out to me to say that he will be only playing points leagues going forward. Does anyone know an owner who would be interested in the team? Or should we just abandon the team now? I twisted Load Management’s arm to get him to do arbitration if necessary, but he would be off the hook if the team was abandoned.

• Good day. I have imported the players from coachmanagers. I have ticked (actually unticked) the box in the commish tools that says we are done with the draft. I ask that you check your teams to be sure that the players you have are the players you drafted. If there is a problem, let me know ASAP. I had to do a little manual importation for some players, but that was not a problem. Otherwise, the draft is over, the league is live. Have fun.

• More or less. Our nightly pause will be from Midnight through 8 AM EST. A failed bid on a max bid will go to the value of the failed max bid. After the initial nominations, you get a new nomination when you win an auction. This makes nominating players a little more strategic. The initial period to bid is 12 hours, but once the time to go falls below 8 hours, subsequent bids reset the clock to 8 hours.

• Basically, we can each nominate 3 players at a time. It looks like we have a 12 hour time limit to bid, with an 8 hour extension -- so, if there's a new high bid, the time limit gets extended. Usually, there's a pause during the night so people can sleep. One neat feature of couch managers is that you can enter a max bid on a player that only you can see. If another manager bids on that player, couch managers will automatically bid one dollar higher. That helps things go a little quicker.
