Maybe something like this would help us both? Gives you a roster spot, saves you from cap hit for Kahnle or Balazovic, and gives you extra cap space for 2020? I’d cut Kahnle and Balazovic after the trade. Just a thought. I assume you like Happ but don’t see him as irreplaceable. No?

I would seriously consider keeping Balazovic. He has been getting stronger. He has a live fastball that seems to have late life. I wouldn't be surprised he is throwing 98-99 this year. Very underrated in my opinion. I like Happ a lot, but he has been grossly under used in Chicago. I hope Ross has more patience than Madden. I really don't need Seager or Goldy, but the extra $$ helps a ton.
